I agree with you completely, what tends to give " hipsters" a bad name is more so the fact that so many of them get so much self-satisfaction from being different that some tend to shape their entire philosophy around it. Making anybody not in their lil circle wrong. What gets me is the ones who get pissed when indie artists get the credit they deserve, some people are so self-centered they'd rather feel special for knowing a good band than said band getting more credit for their work.

Wow, I haven't heard this song since when I was in the 10th grade in high school. That was about 4 years ago. Back then I was opening up to different types of music and for some reason it just spoke to me. Looking at it now, I can honestly see what an impact it made in the art I made, the stuff I wrote, etc etc. Crazy how music helps shape us.

I also wanted to add. In reality there is only 2 kinds of music. music and Good music. There is no bad music. I may not like beiber or lil' wyane. But in the end someone had to cut a track, set lyrics to it and make videos and build the sets and run the boards. We often forget the effort that even "main stream" puts into thier craft and dispite how we feel about the end product. We should always appreciate the work that went into it.
