I just got the standard bellaria model delivered a month ago. $500 w/cup and regulator. I agree the Japanese make some good stuff. I worked on mobile cranes for years and the Japanese stuff was always just a little bit better than anything else made on the planet.

i found that the iwata lph400 is really good for the standoblue water base paint system. very rarely did i get mottle, and i found slowing the paint down in the warmer months & adding the colour blender to most silvers helped too. By the way i find my lph400 is better at applying the sikkens water base paint than the deveilbis pro lite. the rep hates me using the iwata but i think they are just shuch a nice gun and i get a better finish. i also use the bellaria for clear & dg.

Great looking gun. May get one of those now. I got a good deal on a dv1 so I grabbed it new for $450 usd. I had a good deal on a sata x5500 but as expected I sprayed 3 cars and I just didnt like it it did not spray well. So I grabbed that dv1 and sold the sata for $100 more than I paid for it hehe. Thanks gunny for the dv1 reviews I just sprayed it and wow it laid the base and clear down like butter. Keep up the work gunny 🥰.

Hi, I have learned a lot from your videos, I paint micro model parts (approx 10mm - 50mm in size) all with detailed faces, I paint these with an Iwata LPH 80 mini gun, I would love you to do a video of how best to paint small I tricat parts like this and the set up of the gun, as most people run the gun full open as they are painting large panels, Thanks and keep up the great work Gunman 👍🏻

I am thinking of this gun. How is this compared to the ws400 supernova? Reason I ask is I’ve finding it hard to dial in the ws400 but I find using my lph-80 which looks similar to this easy to dial in. I always get a better finish on my lph-80 compared to my supernova.

What air fittings do u use on all your guns I just got a iwata300 platinum from spray guns direct with the colad atomising bottles and the top colour markers verry good quality the iwata has a blow gun but doesn't go in the Nippo fittings what would I need to get

soo I just bought the Devilbiss special edition gunman Turquoise color with a T110 cap. I plan to use it for clear coat. Gunman...that's still your suggestion for a flat glassy look straight out of the gun isn't it? I know it comes down to buffing etc...but the T110 cap will at least 'help' get to that point??? When will there be a gunman DV1 basecoat gun available? I am holding off on a basecoat gun until one is launched. Unless it will be another 5-9 months away. Any info on it?? *I heard a rumor that it was coming..soon**

Do you have a forum for followers questions Gunny? I've not seen a video on clearcoats you like or not.... do you have one? I do airbrush art - mainly on metal panels. I used to use HiChem 2-pack iso free clear however it's no longer made. I have an LPH80 with 1.2mm tip. Can you advise a good value clearcoat I can source (I'm in Brisbane not Perth) that is HS and able to be polished or come out well with a flowcoat? I've been trialling the Createx UVLS architectural clears but find it too finicky compared with a decent automotive clear (though I've not used any waterborne ones). Hope you are able to give some advice 🙂

Hello Gunman, I have a question regarding direct gloss clear coat. Im using the Carbo clear by carsystems and an iwata az-4 with 1.2mm tip. Surface tends to have a little bit of orange peel, although I sometimes managed to achieve an even surface. Would you think that a Devilbiss FLG5 with 1.3mm tip would suite my usecase better? I want to have a direct gloss since im painting carbon fiber parts. Thanks in advance

I'd say W400 easily the better gun, the fan is higher and build quality just that bit better

What is the fan pattern like in relation to the ws400? Is it as unforgiving?

No, the fan is much rounder on the top and bottom unlike the WS400 which has a V shaped fan. These Bellarias are much easier to spray with.

I usually just keep that fluid fully open, full fan and 2bar (29psi) pressure, it's a simple gun to set up and operate. Similar to the pro lite in many ways.

Those spray suits are still being made so there's a further delay, I hear they had to shut production down because of Covid. Original they were meant to be ready in November but now delayed until February, sorry but I'll keep everyone posted when they're available. The link to the guns are in the description of the video.
