What Inspired said wasn't inherently awful and I would agree with it if I didnt remember the series, but after rewatching game 1 (TL 19 kills to Fly's 1 kill) its just a complete lie. The only player who even did what they are supposed to do that game was Massu. He had zero ganks, roams, pressure, just anything at all from his team, and he didn't int. Inspired just straight up was absent that game. No ganks, no covering lanes, no dives, entire time he got 1 singular void grub and 1 dragon. Inspired managed to weakside both sides even. I thought to count the errors that lead to deaths I saw from each player, and I counted 5 errors from Inspired (bad dragon call that lead to Busio dying, tried to save Jensen when he was doomed and dying for it, late to midjungle 2v2, and diving way too deep and dying first in 2 critical teamfights) 4 errors from Bwipo (not countering Ksante TP with his own, leading to a TL double kill, walked wrong way out of skirmish and got picked, way way out of position before baron teamfight, loses 80% health before teammates show up, fights Ksante for no reason and gets picked by Ksante ult, leading to 4v5 in which TL aces Fly and ends game). Jensen didnt play well, did underperform, but the only hard error he had that game was getting caught top once. Massu had no errors in my opinion, closest thing was not going for dragon but he had no help bot and needed to catch the wave. Busio was a victim of the teams shot calling, but was playing too forward in most fights. That game would not have looked very different if Inspired was actually just afk. It was a tremendous jungle dif. Umti had 17 of 19 KP, 14 assists, and the 2 KP he missed out on were in the final 2 minutes of game, both of which in fights that he carried. Umti also had more grubs and more dragons. TL did nothing that game without Umti. Bwipo and Jensen both did fine in lane, botlane lost priority but was doing okay until the dives. Even at a huge disadvantage, Massu managed to stay mostly even on CS and only died once. Its actually insane that Inspired thinks that loss is on Jensen. Its not that Bwipo and Inspired didn't carry that game and thats why they lost. Inspired and Bwipo hard inted that game, and made it impossible for their botlane to play. They had zero map control, zero presence, and both threw every teamfight. Bwipo was out of position constantly, and getting picked for it, and Inspired dived into 4 or 5 of them repeatedly, and died. Jensen was just a passenger, but he wasn't throwing the teamfights at least. If they don't learn how to play better around bot, they are going to get slammed by every single team at MSI. Those teams are all high tempo and have strong botlanes that they enable. Finally, Bwipo is the first guy to call himself out when he misplays, so when he gives critique of teammates, its fair because he also makes those criticisms of himself. He says it during game, on stream, in interviews, doesnt hide or downplay his issues. He even blamed himself for the game 4 loss on GangPlank, which really wasn't his fault other than one afk death. Inspired in this interview is coping extremely hard about his own performance, was by far the most responsible for how game 1 turned out, blames Jensen anyways, and when he did 'critique' himself it was disingenuous cause its not "I messed up" its closer to "I should've carried harder on this team". Which is wrong, because he certainly did mess up, but he blames team instead.
@noahhaller45409 ай бұрын
Also what Inspired said about other games could be completely true, I am not arguing with everything he said because I didnt rewatch the entire series, I just wanted to address what he said about Jensen and game 1. And he was 100% entirely wrong in every regard about game 1. If you wanted to be really lazy, you could just look at the end scoreboard and realize the 0/5/1 jungler blames the loss on the 0/4/0 mid. Even though those stats are only a fraction of what happened in game, that 0/5/1 jungler saying he played really well and the 0/4/0 mid was vegan is just clearly wrong.

These replys lol...No one actually been on a competitive team I think. If my teammate is calling out my play that's fair, I can be held accountable but don't go praising JoJo/other players when he was not even in the finals. Going to be awkward in the team after, you can look past this but if I'm Jensen I have Inspired having a crush on JoJo in my subconscious.

He is blunt and direct, but also towards his own mistakes. Flaming or throwing Jensen under the bus...? Not really... Sure he points out mistakes and failures (again... own mistakes and failures too). But in any pro. situation you have to identify the core problem to solve it. And thats what he is doing mainly.

This dude made reporting illegal parking his hobby and was very petty about everything. After a docu about him, people went riot, said that they would kill him and his hole fam. In the end he even got beaten up for it, wich is obviously way worse then what he did and its the same here. The stupid people are just the loudest and news like drama.

Honestly my problem with this is that I think jensen was probably the best performer on the team that series. They picked him annie 3 times, and he was pretty consistently getting leads on apa and winning 1v1s with him with the pick, and was chunking down and ccing enemies later on, but its not like he can actually carry on it. Bwipo and inspired picked gp + viego in one game I remember, and legitimately just did nothing, bwipo didnt hit a single barrel chain and inspired too scared to go in on people that jensen chunked to 30% hp to enable viego to get resets.

I think my only gripe with the interview is that Busio and Bwipo were the ones gapped the worst, like they almost looked like they were win trading they were so piss and then third would've been Jensen, but he just ONLY talked about all the various mistakes Jensen did. I think having to do an interview fresh off a lost was part of the issue, and people need to take that with a grain of salt, and the fact Jensen comes off like he can shrug shit off very easily, so I don't think this is as bad as people say.
@blobitz964810 ай бұрын
He's a dick for sure but you should give him credit and take it away when deserved. When they win it is actually him, that's just a fact as much as when they lose yeah, he's a problem but he isn't as big a problem as his team. Are these qualities of a great leader? No. Are they qualities of even a great player? Of course not. But is his ego out of control when what he's saying is true even if he shouldn't say it? No, to have an insane ego is to think more of yourself then what you are, and he thinks of himself accurately at least within the confines of his play relative to his team. If you don't like someone for doing something shitty then give them shit for what they did. If you guys start adding things that aren't true to vilify him even more, it just takes power away from what could be a reasonable comment and makes you look like a ignorant hater.
