Park closed earlier than we thought so I was disappointed that we only got to play for a cpl hours. But we made the most of the short time and the truck barely broke a sweat. Thanks to Travis for filming.

So Ian, couple of updates. Got to be friends with the lead service tech (come to find out, I've worked with his BIL for 10 years) at my dealership, and he hooked me up with the parts and installed the remote start feature (I'm taking him a bottle of Jack and some cigars as a thank you). It was the one option I really kinda wanted. It is hot here in Scottsdale in the summer, and cold In Flagstaff in the winter. He stuck to his original estimate of 2 hrs labor, but it took them 6. Had to remove the back seat and drop the headliner and put in a new hood latch. I'm amazed at the distance that little peanut fob works. Yesterday I had our guys at Discount put on 35's. Same Dirtytracs, as I thought I'd give them a shot for something different. They claimed though that the spare would not clear the receiver tube and I'd need to cut off about 3/8-1/2". I'm going to give it a shot Saturday and see for myself, and if I have to break out the angle grinder then so be it. Also picked up a slider tray for the ARB fridge so I'm going to be cutting and carpeting (to match the Bedrug) a piece of Baltic birch plywood to mount it to in the bed. I don't want to drill down into the bed itself. Oh also ordered another Puma air compressor and a Factor 55 rear shackle receiver. Hopefully everything will be in b4 Utah. If not, I'll wing it. Dame good video love the upgrades. RAM says 30 inches of water. I would bet with your tires and lift 3'+ easy. Been doing a little mudding and dirt road fun with a few other Dodge, Ford, ,GMC. I really enjoy how the Power Wagon blows the other away on dirt road burn outs. Turn that traction control off I can, consistently spin both rear wheels all the way through 4th. Funny the Ford and GMC 1st and 2nd really shows how that 4.10 rear end makes a difference. We had two 2500 4*4 Rams with the 6.4L with 3.73 if I recall correctly, they also would not keep spinning after the shift to 3rd. This road is very wide and packed hard with red clay and gravel. Was fun as hell pushing the truck hard and trying to keep it straight. Love the videos keep them coming.

If only it was A 5.9 Cummins + exhaust brake. FCA could have put emissions Crap on the 59 and sold it specifically for the power wagon coupled with long range fuel tanks,PTO's, air compressors,twin transfer cases, stout manual 6sp and stripped out interior. It would have been the best truck ever produced. the baddest of them all.

7:01 that noise is either your ABS working the brake on the wheel that it senses is slipping, OR, a component of your suspension lift that is shifting. I doubt that it's the suspension, and I wouldn't even suspect that IF it was stock suspension, but, I know that you had an after market lift installed on your truck. If it's the suspension, then try to identify the bolt that just needs tightened a little bit more. If it's the ABS, then 3 choices, live with it, run your lockers, or disable the ABS. First 2 are self explanatory. To explain the third, I have a16 PW and I got REAL tired of that ABS working and wearing out my brakes when turning tight in 4low, and, also at others times at higher speeds when on sloppy muddy dirt roads at around 50/60 mph. To explain, In 4low, I found that turning was made more difficult when that ABS was chattering and applying brake as I turned real tight. The normal "crab crawl" was made way worse by ABS and after disabling it, it was SO much easier to turn sharp in 4 low. On the muddy roads, I found that normal wheel slippage was countered by the ABS but it only made it harder to steer and when I got to my destination, making a hundred or more mile round, I'd be a little tuckered and my wet muddy wheels would always be SO warm, from HOT brake rotors, that they would be steaming off the moisture! After disabling ABS, my wheels never steamed and it was hard to believe that it got SO much easier and less fatiguing to barrel down a sloppy road. I just couldn't believe, that, for all the benefits of ABS, that it was actually easier to go at speeds without ABS in the sloppiest of muddy roads, besides all the unnessesary wear and tear on my brakes! Obviously after discovering this joy, I didn't want to have to pop the hood, and pull the ABS fuse all the time so I installed a switch in the cab that allows me to disable it at will. You'll find that cruise control won't work with ABS switched off and of course the next guy that scans for codes will find a pile of ABS codes, but it doesn't set any lights on the dash that don't go away after it's enabled again. Hope this helps because wheeling off road is a lot more fun with tires aired down and WITHOUT ABS lol

Nice video! Well, it seems as though the lift not only looks great, it also performs great. Thats really encouraging. Are you going to look in into some other gears? Maybe 4.56 or 4.88?

@@RobertGTrujillo he's referring to the gears in the axles. The truck comes stock with a 4.10 axle ratio. The higher the number will give you quicker acceleration and power but then also revs higher on highway and uses more fuel.

theses trucks don't need a lift, a lift don't do shit for ground clearance, you need bigger tires .so the aev suspension would be great to get 40"s but 37"s are all thats needed ,and they can be put on with stock suspension.

I've thought about getting one. Not sure who makes the best. I have one on my 80 series Lexus. The Land Cruiser group calls them dorkels, and claim that chicks dig'um. Just a running joke. Here in the desert Southwest, they do help to lower IAT and keep dust intake slightly lower. I do about 3k of off-road driving per year and they do help. I'm not so much into fording rivers unless I have to.

Definitely swapping out to better shocks soon, but all the RC componets seem to work good and are holding up to abuse. Glad to hear from a fellow PW owner
