Izzy is so underrated. Very good guitar player and singer and an excellent writer. He wrote a ton of GnR's best songs. Izzy is the man always just quiet in the background not a look at me type of guy.

As a Stones fan, I can say Izzy is superb. Super version. To bad Mick and Keith didn't use him as a guest as he fits their 69-73 guitar driven sound.

jbstonesfan they did in 1989 they used axl and Izzy and they performed the stones song ‘salt of the earth’
@green323turbo5 жыл бұрын
Too bad Izzy wouldn't replace Ronnie. He would need to cut the distorion a bit though, the Stones like the guitar tone cleaner than that.

fan-made recording live in a pub - how professional is the mix expected to be? Loved Ju Ju Hounds, and all of Izzy's releases after this tour. The Stone's raunchy tunes usually remind me of Ronnie Wood. I believe Izzy is a fan too. Rick Richards is still playing with all kinds of characters to this day as well. I hold out hope for Rick and Izzy to work up another acoustic release someday.

The first time i found out about izzy stradlin was when i saw him in sweet child o mine video. I remember how I hated him at first, but then I really noticed how charismatic he was. He really seemed to be so self-reliant and cool, that I later became his fan. He just really looked very atypical and it was obvious that he was somehow different.
