Its great when comedians can do full sets without swearing (cursing) but thats what DryBar comedy is... Its in Provo, Utah, the venue is no alcohol and no swearing! I think because of the huge Mormon community? I love to both drink, and to swear, but the quality of acts they put on is awesome!! : )

This is the kind of humour I really love; gentle, conversational delivery, sashaying from one scenario to the next and always making you laugh with the absurd punchline that isn`t really a punchline, but a truth. A quirk of the eyebrow, a roll of the eyes, a droll smile. Superb! Thank you Mike Goodwin.

@@sophieoshaughnessy9469 yea, it's much better to retread the same tired old "white people do this, black people do that" jokes we have heard a million times. Give me a break with that nonsense. I feel bad for you that you cannot appreciate comedy that isn't overly predictable and safe. You're prolly a real bore, lady. I bet your idea of rebelling is wearing white pants past September or pairing red wine with fish. I would like to add that you don't have to be a rebel or vulgar to be funny, but you do have to be original and creative. There are plenty of clean comics that are as funny as more edgy ones, such as Jim Gaffigan. This guy in this video was a stale cliche of a comedian. Don't get me wrong, it's serviceable, but it isn't good.

He had me laughing from start to finish. My family's from the south and the nicknames are so true. I was working on my family tree and asked my father about the names of his aunts and uncles on his father's side and he only knew their nicknames one aunt's nickname was Toe and the other was Foot. Real talk. The mystery continues.

@@patricewike3879 I thought my name was NENE until I started school. Luckily I knew my given name. But it is an Arabic name so you try telling that to a southern black teacher in the 1960's in Texas. Despite me being born a Muslim I grew up Catholic so I used my Christian name up until the 4th grade and then I insisted that everyone call me by my Muslim name. I was finished with Catechism by then.

The companion expression to “the cat’s out of the bag” is “never buy a pig in a poke”. They both go back to medieval times and refer to buying piglets at the local market place. If the buyer wasn’t wary and bought a pig in a sack, or poke, without checking the contents, they risked finding out later they’d been tricked when the “cat was out of the bag”.
