What is total action?
When there is only the fact, you have total energy to deal with that fact. Then that fact undergoes a radical change. When you look at the fact, at ‘what is’ with a conclusion, an image, a prejudice, then you are dissipating energy in contradiction.

Good brother. Be watchful and alert. Don't go with work that occupies full of your life. Hope you continue to maintain attention in life. I was like that 10 years ago watching and attentive. Later my career progressed got busy with it. And family etc. It attention fades. And you know the attentiveness only possible over weekends. Yes will be making some changes in life to sit quietly daily and be watchful. 🙏

I grew up in an extremely depressing environment, I hated everyone. And after high school, I experienced a nervous breakdown. Felt couldn't live on any further in that state. I had suffered for 2, 1/2 decades all alone, there on with one wish "I want to see myself in the same way I see others." Then came was K's book Freedom from Violence which took me for a decade to catch on. After that, through every K's talk, I have been able to see myself and therefore the direction, too, and see others also in a different light. Through that feat, I love every maddening person around me and the world. I am also concerned about the state of the world, in the same way K does ... Back to depressing environment, but I am not a depressed person anymore ... least to say

We all know how great Master JK is. From my perspective, he is an enlightened soul. He is down to earth, a great human being. He is such a simple man with no wants! It is very shocking how one of the persons from the audience is asking about his sex life! So disgusting! So humiliating! Utter disrespect! JK is 77 years old in this vdo! I wonder if this person has asked his dad the same question or would ask the same to his old dad! This person does not know the etiquette of such discourses, esp. when you have a speaker of this caliber. There is a thing which is called respect and reverence and a decorum, to be maintained. There is a place, a moment to ask such stupid question! I know USA is very advanced and country, but sadly, looks like our brains are not! Wish, we know the differences between a horse and a donkey! JK had clearly mentioned right in the beginning that this talk is not entertainment! May God bless this person!

"Total action" means first and foremost stripping off all unfortunate attachments like evaluations, judgements, beliefs, conviction and so on, in other words, anything from which a conflict between the supposed "good" and the supposed "bad", the supposed "correct" and the supposed "incorrect", etc., can arise. Just stop thinking in dual categories which are a result of your experiences and conditioning. Then try to understand the true causes of the situation, for instance the fears, the anxieties, the pursuit of pleasure, the conditioning, etc., which may underlie the problem and which are shared by all humanity. If you are free from "I want this", "I don't want that", "I like this", "I don't like that" - which are all based on evaluations - then you become free to act in whatever direction, without the urge to do something pleasurable and without the avoidance of the unpleasant. Usually your choice will be according to your values, but actually J.K. proposes a value for you: Act without any division and conflict, act with love and compassion.
