I have both the silver and the gold versions and there is a difference between the two. The gold has a little bit more definition and the low end sounds tighter. I tested both pedals by using a looper pedal and playing chord progressions and single note runs. Both pedals are great, the gold ikon is worth the extra $30. Thank you so much.

Idk how you do that. When i first started, I played with my thumb instead of a pick. It wore my skin off and replaced it with flaky white rock, and wore my thumbnail down and kept it there. In the end, my thumb was getting in the way of the rest of life so I learned to use a pick.

is there any difference between the ikon archer and the regular archer?

So it runs at 27volts internally? I'm confused. How does that work. I understand a boost to 18v but not 27v. Also this seems to blow my silver archer and ts808ri out of the water.

lo3435 The circuit takes the +9 and boosts it to +18 while simultaneously inverting the +9 into a -9, giving a range from -9 to +18, for a total voltage of 27V
