i love wyndford i wish they didnt think of demolishing it my mums friend lived there on the 19th floor of one and it was apparently quite nice all he said was that there was some social problems but its really sad they’re coming down overall nice video J T

That's sad they're bringing them down. If they're structurally safe it might have been better to renovate them and re-let them out, especially with all the people who must be on the housing list. I've seen your flat reviews on one of these flats and they look quite big, such a waste. Wonder what they will use the land for that the towers are standing on, do you know?

They are definately getting demolished this year but no actual date has been confirmed

There is a ballot going on right now with the residents of the scheme. Wheatley were forced to take part.

It makes me sick they are ripping down all these iconic tower blocks in Glasgow. One of my favourite things about that city were the tower blocks and all the variations in design. Gallowgate/Parkhead Twins and Red Road were a huge loss even if they were past their best, but nothing that some good investment couldn't put right. They are either leaving the areas as wastelands or building the most dreary and generic low/mid rise apartment blocks on them. Every demolition is making Glasgow lose it's character.

Have you heard anything when draffen, Allen and coursington are coming down mate? I've seen nothing local news that's been 2 years it's been empty draffen.

Coursington is currently coming down but is still mostly intact like 18/19 floors are still up. Draffen and Allan are both still fully standing and they still have their cladding on.
