I was 7 years old when I had cancer. It was one of the most horrible experience. But I feel like I learned soo much in that young age, I started appreciating life a lot more, I would embrace every second for being alive. My parents and my brother were the biggest support i had. Also, the doctors and nurse that took care of me were so nice and kind they would get me everything to comfort me. I am so grateful to have a second life. To all the people out there fighting cancer, plz don’t give up and embrace your family’s and the care you are receiving. I really hope u recover soon and get back to normal life. omg i have cancer too and i really loved watching this bc i can relate sooo much. i finished chemo but hearing the beeping gave me ptsd lmaooo i had to get me chemo at like 1 am for the first week it sucked and i hated taking the pole everywhere i went. the naps did slap thoooo. i remember pooping was such a big accomplishment. i got reallyyy bad mucositis in my stomach and mouth and had to be admitted for like 2 weeks. i always kept my spirts up that’s what really helped me through the tough times. having cancer as a teen sucks it makes you feel isolated. i hope that everything goes well and that you get through this really fast. if you need someone to talk to or a friend i’m more than happy to be there for you. it’s always good to have someone who knows what you’re going through :)

I’m a cancer survivor myself! Got diagnosed with Wilms Tumor stage 4 at 6 years old and was in and out of the hospital for 4 years... I can’t imagine going through one of the hardest things a person can go through + being a teen and having to deal with the trauma of that + the state of the world.... I hope this does not make you feel weighed down but lifts you up for how STRONG you are for still being so funny and making the most of your journey!!!! We are all given a journey and we are never given more than we can handle. For everyone who is still curious. The surgery didn’t go as expected. He got home and got extremely sick, couldnt stand up , or anything and had to be rushed by ambulance back to the hospital. They gave him another surgery and some medicine and sent him back home after 2 weeks. And now he’s been fine. He hasn’t been hurting or anything since . He has a huge smile of finally feeling normal now

Hey Dallas, did they have to remove your entire thyroid and have you go on levothyroxine? If so, what was the process of finding the right levels like? I heard from some people it really messes with your mental state like anxiety and stress but my endocrinologist said it’s as if you just had your same old thyroid and problems only arise if you don’t take the medication. I’m getting my thyroid removed next week because of thyroid cancer so just wanted to know. Thanks and hopefully you’re feeling better!

I relate to you on another level. I had cancer when I was 5 (not to the extent you do) but I had to stay in the hospital for more than a year. It was a truly... terriying. And it took all I had to beat it. Now I look back and I'm just so glad that things went my way. You truly are an inspiration to me. All I have to say is.. NEVER GIVE UP. I work with cancer patients, I check them into their appointments. I always feel terrible when I see people younger than me or who are my age (27) :( It sucks. I hope you can get better soon. I didn't realize how much of it was drinking unpleasant things!

A couple years ago I was rushed into the emergency room and then the hospital where I stayed for a week. I spent 3 days in the ICU and 4 days in a regular room recovering. That took almost everything out of me, and I don’t know exactly how you feel, but I am proud of you man. I just want to say that you are incredibly strong for having to go through this. Keep up your mindset and you can beat this! 💪✊

hey man, I'm 17 and also am undergoing treatment for cancer. I was diagnosed when I was 15. I have still have 9 months of treatment to go. I'm being treated by saint Judes in Memphis. I know its hard in the beginning but I promise things improve. trust me your hair does grow back :) and trust me man you dont want a blood clot in your leg, it sucks so bad ( speaking from experience)

my uncle just passed away on christmas day this year , at the age of 51 , from liver , stomach and esophagus cancer . i still think about it every day . he was a 6’4 260 pound guy , a big time wrestler . he was basically my gentle giant . not a day goes by where i don’t think about him . i miss him so much and just want to see his smile and hear his voice again. cancer is horrible , i really wish you the best and i know you are strong 💙💙💙 !! u can do this !!

I have cancer since I was 7. I had two operations and am on chemotherapy since 2011/2012. Now I’m 18 going to be 19 this year. My cancer was pretty bad back in the days now I’m living with it but I too, hope some day that I‘ll be cancer free. My illness made me such a stronger person and made me who I am today.
