Ja Rule Details Prison Experience: They Respected Me

www.vladtv.com - Ja Rule sat down with VladTV and shared his opinion on fans believing he's broke, placing family over material possessions, his experience behind bars, and how gun laws in NYC simply don't make sense.
The Queens native starts out saying he knows there are fans out there who believe he's broke simply because he doesn't have a huge hit on the radio. Rule says it doesn't bother him whether or not people believe he has money, as he learned in prison that material things are not as important as his family and personal relationships.
He also briefly addressed his time behind bars, saying he had the respect of his fellow inmates, often hanging out with them on a regular basis with no problems, as they recognized the real in him and never started any issues. He also takes responsibility for his actions, but feels that New York State gun laws need to be reworked drastically.

I met Ja Rule in 2007 after a show at the crocodile rock in Allentown Pennsylvania. It was winter time and Me and my boy were outside talking to his driver. His driver slipped on the ice and almost busted his ass. Me and my buy caught him before he hit the ground. And as a thank you he brought us backstage. We hung out with Ja and everyone else. Ja is a very cool guy. Very down to earth and humble. There were 2 other times I got to meet the rapper after a show there. Styles P and DMX. Out of the three Ja rule was by far the coolest one. I also met bizarre Royal the time I met DMX. I don't know if anyone remembers him or not. He was on bloodline records. He had a few decent songs. He was a cool guy as well

made respect for Ja Rule! his life was filled with great challenges. becoming successful in his career in the beginning of his life. Bring more problem that we don't see coming and every aspect as a rich and famous person. growing up we learn what is real fulfillment and happiness from people and believes we were taught and learned. like many people your mind and soul forged to be the person who will become. made respect to man who is no longer blind and found himself. we'll enjoy the fruits of his labor and the people who really love. not everybody can enjoy a happy and for fulfilling life for many reasons.

I still pumped ja through all his ups and downs. How can a man not? Only begotten son was prob my fav by him or so much pain . Coming from a huge pac fan. Pac would have been proud of that track I believe in 2001 when it dropped. All those tracks went hard through the JL W1 10s in a hatchbox drinking 22s and blowing blunt after blunt. True story💯

This is the difference between 50 and Ja. 50 def is a smart business man and taking nothing away from him, but JA seems to have that level headedness that will make him happy (and quietly rich) for the rest of his life.

For an early 90's baby. We know how Ja Rule had 106 & Park on lock. With them hits with lil Mo when he had the music video playing somebody in jail and all those hits

people tend to crack on Vlad for instigating beef, gossip, drama, but I like how he interviews old celebrities to make them feel relevant again. Vlad has a charitable heart.

He's so right when he talks about how the DA knew that gun was just for protection. Its still wrong at the end of the day but Ja is right there is a huge differwnce between a celebrity carrying a gun for protection and a thug whos in a gang walking walking around w one.
