Honestly, there’s nobody else in music let alone Hip Hop that I want to see make a bigger comeback than Rule. He was the soundtrack to much of my middle and high school years ( I’m in my mid-30’s by the way). I hate how everybody turned on him when Curtis entered the mainstream; late 2002, early 2003. I ain’t gonna lie and pretend like all of Ja’s content was great because he did put out mediocre albums here and there. And his lyricism was not always the best but overall the dude has talent and made a lot of hit records not only for himself but for other artists as a ghostwriter. Rule’s catalog is immense! He deserves another chance in Hip Hop and I’m rooting for him.

@@youtubeaccount458 His good albums to me are; R.U.L.E, PAIN IS LOVE, VENNI VETTI VECCI, and BLOOD IN MY EYE. RULE 3:36 is just okay. And with the exception of a few songs THE LAST TEMPTATION is trash! PAIN IS LOVE 2 is not good but given the circumstances it’s easy to understand why.

@@better-dayz-r-ahead VVV, rule 336, pain is love, the last temptation, blood in my eye, R.U.L.E are all classic albums in my opinion and I love all of them. Pil 2 is the only album i didnt like. @better-dayz-r-ahead
@better-dayz-r-ahead 2 жыл бұрын
@@youtubeaccount458 I respect your opinion, but to me the word “classic” gets thrown around too loosely nowadays. I admire most of Ja’s work but I’ve never seen any of his albums ever mentioned in conversation or on a list of the greatest Hip Hop albums ever. None of Rule’s albums are flawless that’s why I don’t regard any of them as classics. Real classics to me are not just the albums celebrated by a certain artist hardcore fan base but embraced by all. I listened to THE LAST TEMPTATION a few years back and my opinion hasn’t changed. I still feel the same way about it now as I did in 2006 when I originally bought the cd. It’s still bad.

Great advice from ja rule when he said just keep going, it's really hard when you have been dealing with the same pain for years and you can't seem to get a break through, it's a really hard thing to get past as it makes your physical and mental health really bad, but like ja rule said keep going

Biggest thing about Ja Rule is you had to be there. Graduating high school in 2000 his music was everywhere. And at that time there was was so much crazy music being made. From end of an era of Bone to Twista Do or Die. DMX Luda Outcast Fab there's just to many to name and ending with Em 50 and Dre... Ja definitely held his own. Great time for Hip hop
