The thing is that he have to be on the level of pro driers like Wittmann or Estre to get a seat without paying. Maybe he have the potential but those guys are racing since little kids. Still very impressive, after 2 years without racing it shows how much sims a helping in preparation.

Absolutely awesome performance. It cannot be understated quite how little experience James has, and the fact that despite that he was one of the fastest drivers on track. Racing against people with the money behind them to race 10+ races for years and years (some over a decade), plus tests etc - and yet is still one of the best out there. Humility is a great thing, and I'm glad that you show it in bags. Every single member of the team did an awesome job to do the monumental challenge that is finishing the Spa24h. But beyond that, I hope you realise quite how awesome of a driver you are James. Definitely deserve a race seat, and I hope Garage 59 and other teams have taken note of just how impressive your performance was.

How this man doesn’t have a race seat (the money obviously plays a part but still) is beyond me, the improvement compared to the other drivers is ridiculous since 22 and I really do hope u get a seat in something in 25 James, would be so deserving

Mate! Just wanted to congratulate you again. You have proven yourself yet again. What a great performance by the whole team. Well worth sitting in the grandstands in the pouring rain with the amazing backdrop of the lightening. You were the deciding factor on me and my mate driving to Spa for the race. Our first season watching British GT was the year you smashed it. We are hooked. Yep, I was the guy with the throat tattoo and the giant beer that you also saw again in France. Sorry if I fan boyd too much. Hope I didn't come across as a dick. Good luck for the future mate. Can't wait to see what's next

Let's hope that the right people take notice and can then get you in on a series somewhere! Congrats to you and the Team. I watched a lot of the race and after the contact with the damage i thought it would be over, again, to early. But it was great to see the car back after the long repair and doing well for the rest of the race. I saw you in the stream during the stint you mentioned in front of the leaders and hey, pretty awesome stuff you did. I hope and wish that you get soon a call again, you showed that you belong in such a car, well done! And, nice video and great to see that you talked about everything, the good and bad things that happend, your faults and what you learned or still have to learn and also the raw speed you showed.

As a guy who suffers from motion sickness while skiing or going on roller coasters for the first day, I can totally understand how you must feel under those circumstances. Though I must applaud you for even trying to keep it all together while competing in really challenging conditions. I don’t think I’d even survive a few laps if it hit me like a truck! That aside, keep up the great performance, James! From a casual Sim Racer that also dreams of getting on the course one of these days, I’ll be rooting for you all the way!

Congrats for that achievement and after the first onboard video I thought, if this isn't competitive, it's the setup. I was watching most of the race minus the SC-phase and it was insane. I'm sure that most of the pro-drivers also had their shock-moments, even if Rallycross wasn't involved😁

Congrats Mr Baldwin Sir (aka: James), what can we say, but bravo double stint , you must have been thinking of ACC quoting, "ACC eat your heart out!" But 8 hours is a massive win, and you had said it yourself, to finish 1st, first you have to finish! On the sim last year I had done a 24 hours at spa on ACC, and myself and a fellow driver is disabled as well as a Finland driver, we started last P.24 but cross the finish line a respectable P.26. Lets hope you this experience boosts your creditability fir 2025 and beyond. Can't wait to see the double stint, uncut from the one, the only, your macca friend and mine, Mr J Baldwin Sir (PS: I'm going to write to the commentators and asked why you wasn't given the air time you truly deserve. Well done sir. Well done!

I know it doesn't compare to what you dealt with, but after getting my Quest 3, I spent about 4-5 hours racing out of the box in VR. I got so motion sick for 3+ days after. Constant fatigue, disorientation, feeling soo sick -- I was terrified my VR days were already over. Didn't know about getting my VR legs. Lots of ginger and acclimating helped me out. I'm so glad they got you sorted. I NEVER want to feel THAT again.

I like driving at night. It can be very therapeutic. Huring around Spa Francorchamps in the dark with limited visibility, dodging other speeding objects, in the rain is, for me, quite the opposite! Great video James. Which motion sickness medication did you take? I have the same issue where during a track day, I feel fine while driving at speed, but as soon as it's time for a cool down lap, I get insanely nauseous and dizzy. I feel validated that I'm not the only person with this issue, but I've avoided taking any medication before events due to their drowsiness side effects/warnings.

Hey James, can you explain the braking bar on the screen in the beginning of the video, where you are entering la sauce? I thought real cars measure pressure, how come are you at "max pressure", considering that is likely an unreachable quantitity, dictated by the strength of all the components in the system?

How did you get into GT3 because I'm a massive fan of the GT3 races and I was wondering if you had to know someone who owned a racing team or if you need to make yourself known in KZbin or something like it to be able to be spotted. what can I do to be able to get that ticket into the sport via sim racing
