Great Review. This was the headset that came free with work so I cant complain.

This is a really helpful and thorough review that I wished I'd have seen before buying 5 sets for our office on the back of the noise cancelling microphone. In our open office, I still find there is too much background noise which I can hear, even if our clients can't. I'd been recommended this headset by a colleague, but she worked mainly alone. Should have thought that one through. If I were in a position to buy again I wouldn't choose this version - it sounds like the Jabra 75 would have been the better option for our office but they're too costly to replace until they've served their purpose.

is the mic removable?

I know this is an old video but that microphone issue could be caused by interference from another device in your house or in your neighborhood that activates every hour.

Exactly! Exactly.. The headset slides when we tilt forward.

Jabra Evolve 75 is an excellent headset (my favourite, far better than the 85h) except for one big problem: you'll only get about 2 years' use out of it. Internally, the tiny internal wire which connects the microphone to the PCB board flexes so often as you lift and lower the boom mic over and over that it eventually breaks entirely. Some other fellow has a video on how to repair it. (Spoiler alert, you'd better be nimble, delicate, and an extra-good soldering ninja because the wire is like those thin airline earphone cables which contain hairlike interlaced copper wire strands. Not for the faint of heart.) I was looking here to see if the 65 would be a workable fallback model, but I'm not liking what I see. This guy's review of a mediocre product is excellent. Pity the 75's durability isn't up to their brand name... Anyone having suggestions for a suitable substitute for the Evolve 75? Thanks!

Really? I have mine for 5 years and use it like... 10-15x EVERY day. No problem so far. EDIT: And I DON'T go easy on it at all. :D

My favorite headset.... Currently on a mission to find the perfect small, pop-filter/wind-screen for the mic tip because my desk fan creates annoying sound for my peers. (and myself since I can hear the mic via passthrough).

Thanks for the nice review. I've decided not to buy this; I don't think it is worth the price. I bought a more affordable one, it was JLab GO Work Wireless, and that looks better based on my experience and comparing it to your review.

I have a Jabra 380 (500 dollar cost) and it's one of the worst headsets I've ever had. Constant connection issues.

I hate these headphones. they can have up to 3 listings each for the microphone and speaker in your device settings and if you plug them in to charge they will change the setting on you. you will spend lots of time on Teams test calls and get very familiar with your phone software and teleconference app device settings. Good luck.

The background noise cancelling is SUPREME. Stupidly you sound like a pilot over it...
