These were probably a little too sweet for me personally but I love the idea. I might try it with more of a soy or miso base (though salt might be an issue). Keep up the great work.
@SmokyRibsBBQ5 жыл бұрын
When I first bit into these, too sweet didn't even remotely come to mind. The bacon is more savory than sweet, and the ingredients in the rub played out well without an overly sweet taste. The Jack Daniels sauce was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I think you would be pleasantly surprised. I'm not real big on sweet anything and to me, overall it was a great balance.

I really like the FOGO charcoal. That looked like a whole lot of work putting that rub on the cubes. Would it be easier to put the rub in a big plastic bag and add the cubes and then shake the whole thing?

Looks delicious, nice looking glaze too. I'm going to give this whole thing a try. Small bit of feedback, the video color is great on all shots but the one right over the cutting board, that one looks kind of pale and washed out. Only reason it stood out is every other shot has nice vibrant color.

@@crunchmunch5282 You could always grab a really big slab, or two smaller ones, and try both. Heck, you could even coarse grind a little and add it to some ground beef (or venison) and make burgers. That seems to be getting more common now, too.
