We don't get a second season. Way to go ITV. The best acting I've seen in a long time. Great characters and unique story and setting . I never go to movies anymore because the movies are so bad . For once we get something brilliant and they won't do a second season . So disappointed .

I was actually shocked at "Sanditon." It is a repudiation of Jane Austen's satiric, warm-hearted comedy. My friend watched it and did not realize that Jane Austen was one of the greatest writers of comedy.
