I am thoroughly impressed by this song! The riffs were amazing and the drumming was also great, sorry i didn't touch too much on the drums in this video. I was caught off guard with that playing style one of the guitarists used before a solo. This band always gets the perfect blend of styles into one song! Definitely in my top tier band-maid songs I've listened to.

I like that each member of Band-Maid is playing and being heard, instead of a particular instrument dominating the whole song! Everytime I listen, there is something new that grabs me from this band, in every song! Band-Maid just plain rocks, Po!

this song is from the "World Domination" album, so you get the type of domination they are talking about. To Band-Maid, world domination means reaching out to the "Unseen World" and being discovered worldwide and known throughout the planet. So far with pay per view live online concerts they have been broadcast to 67 countries. there is a official MV for Domination and an official live for Domination on the Bands youtube channel. Band-Maid are the BEST rock band to come along in decades! . If i am not listening to Band-Maid(which i do daily) i am listening to other favorite bands like The Beatles, The Stones, Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Bowie, Rush or AC/DC or classic rock in general. Band-Maid fit right in :)

Glad to see you're discovering what a genius Kanami is. It looks to me like her nail is scraping one string to get the scrape sound as she plays a riff on the other strings underneath it. I wouldn`t call it tapping, it`s just that she's using the force of her left hand's finger strikes to sound the notes rather than picking them with her right hand. But she never fails to impress, either with her playing or writing the music.

I don't think so. If she just wanna scrape 1 string, she can just use the pick. there's no need to put her entire finger over the fret board like that. looks like she's muting the strings to me. I'm not much of a guitarist though, so i have no idea what she did. Edit: Also, you can't really scrape the bottom strings as they are smooth. it won't make any sound. normally you scrape the top E or A strings. Correct me if i'm wrong.

@@rustygear447 I have a theory here. She is just barely touching the strings with her finger. Creating a muffled sound. Either that or it's a post edit.

Kanami = Riff machine. 2nd verse riff flavor is usually different than the pre-chorus riff flavor than the breakdown riff, etc. Long story short = same riff different flavor. They bring quality, creativity and hard work to every song, Po! Only Band Maiko can top these guys, Po! April 1 coming soon, Po!

The riff and melodies will move around to each instrument sometimes or be doubled by the bass or drums, just shows Kanami's arranging genius and the talent of each band member to take that and add their own spin on it.

Band Maid puts multiple different riffs in their songs UNLIKE most of other rock bands. Each song is crafted with much love. They could have used just one or two riffs in a song and make more songs out of them. But, they don't take the easy way. Just listen to "Puzzle", you will be amazed. This band is NOT an ordinary rock band. They are extraordinary.

@@jackcough4149 Band-Maid just gives you so much variety in the studio then again Live its crazy the amount of effort and creativity this band has. im really old school so i remember the days in rock when you waited an entire year or more for an album and was lucky if you enjoyed the wait..usually ended up with a couple songs that was good and the rest was just ok. This band has it all :)

Kanami’s riffs are just as memorable, or even more than the solos in many of their songs. The main riffs in “Clang”, “Puzzle” & “H-G-K” are among my favs. Also, you’ve got to check out their instr. ver of “Giovanni” (heaviest instr.) and “No God”.
