Beyoncé took Ameries artistical style from this song. Pity Amerie didn't get the level of credit she Deserves.
@SR-zv5ue4 жыл бұрын
@@subliminalstealthhh You're wrong, crazy in love (2003) came out before 1 thing (2005). Amerie worked with Rich Harrison before beyonce but her first album didn't have the gogo sound. Rich recreated and reintroduced the gogo sound into Rand B but he shopped around and Amerie didn't want to do it at first because she didn't think it would be popular. He shopped it to Beyonce and she was reluctant as well but agreed and that's how Crazy in love came to be. Only after Crazy in Love became a hit did Amerie reconsider using the gogo sound. She is from DC and obviously influenced by Gogo sound but her music didn't feature it until after the success of crazy in love. Rich created that sound and she was not the first to actually use it and introduce it into mainstream.

It originated out of the Washington DC area. You can hear this kind of music on almost every street corner in DC.

Amerie was the ORIGINATOR of the percussive,go-go(DC sound)swag-out genre. Rich Harrison produced her first album (All I Have 2002) & her second album( Touch,which this song's from 2005). Rich branched out & worked with J-Lo,Beyonce & others. Amerie was Rich's muse,much like Timbaland was with Aaliyah.
@hallecandi40284 жыл бұрын

Rich worked with other artists before amerie too he had hi in the 90s bby. Amerie stole Beyonces sound and was very inspired by Bey hence why she was doing destinys child tributes

This and Crazy In Love are some of the best songs of the 2000s. Both are produced by Rich Harrison. But if I had to choose between them, I'd go with this due to it's urgent, fidgety melody especially THAT CHORUS. This had the misfortune of being released in 2005 when We Belong Together also came out, which it lost a Grammy to. Also, her name is pronounced /ey-me-ree/. She's half black, half Korean. Toni has a track with this production - it was released but has no video - it's called TAKE THIS RING. Also produced by Rich.

Shathana Rajeshwaran you know they want their faves to be Beys influence so bad. that girl was singing traditional r&b by the influence of destinys child. it’s really the opposite that girl stole more from Bey than the opposite but because she’s a flop now she’s a victim and it’s easier to root for the victim and make the non victim seem like the bad guy.

Amerie debut album was in 2002. Her producer RICH HARRISON produced alot of her sound. Bey recruited RICH in 2003 and together made CRAZY IN LOVE. For the record.. Im a huge fan of both. I can open up a bestbuy with all the cds i own...my room was spotify before spotify. I love all artists from michael Jackson to justin Timberlake... I was not trying to create divide.... There are shared influences....and i appreciate both amerie and beyonce. Just giving you facts mixed with opinion!

Keith Johnson Yes but Amerie’s debut album didn’t have the GoGo high percussion sound that rich produced for both Amerie and Beyonce later. He produced on Amerie’s first album but that album didn’t have the go go sound, Amerie didn’t like it at first and didn’t think it would sell well. Rich did pitch that sound to Amerie but Amerie rejected it. He then pitched it to Beyonce who also was unsure about the sound but then decided to trust him and released Crazy in Love. But after Beyonce came out with Crazy in Love that’s when Amerie decided to dabble in GoGo Music. Rich made that sound on his own and Beyoncé was the one who took a chance with it. So the narrative that Beyoncé stole Amerie’s sound is incorrect. Rich has produced several different sounds for Amerie but she didn’t have GoGo on her first album

Yep Beyoncé actually used her (Amerie’s) producer for the Crazy in Love song to give her the same sound that he used for Amerie.

It’s actually pronounced “Aye-Mah-Reee” lol So this come out in 2005 and Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love came out in 2005. Rich Harrison produced BOTH songs. Both songs have that Washington DC go-go (funk) sound because that’s where Rich Harrison is from (so is Amerie ☕️👀) So to represent his town with their home sound Crazy In Love Samples The Chi-Lites - "Are You My Woman (Tell Me So)" And 1 Thing samples "Oh, Calcutta!"by the Meters.
