About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

Lee deserves way more recognition as a guitarist. The riffs and sweeps he was writing at 16/17 years old for what would later become _Count Your Blessings_ are just absolutely insane for anyone, let alone someone that young. *And* he was performing them live, flawlessly! Just an absolute beast.

Lol at these mad old dudes, Lee is one of the cleanest rythym players I’ve ever heard and has came up with more memorable riffs than a ton of other guitarists, surprised he’s going to Jackson though, got two of his epiphone guitars and they kick ass 🤟Also his tone is top notch. Still can’t get it down.

He’s not exclusively using Jackson. He plays them but not all his guitars are Jackson. He still plays the Epiphones, the Italian custom guitars, and his Fenders. Would be cool to see Lee have a Jackson sig just to see what he’d come up with if he was given that opportunity

i love all the old grumpy snartasses thinking they are sooo clever shitting on this riff. sure it’s not a masterpiece but it’s better than a fair amount of the ‘80s and ‘90s riffs you all worship. don’t get me wrong i love priest, maiden and metallica as much if not more than the next guy but that doesn’t take away from lee’s playing. ‘they don’t make good music like they used to’. nah they make it better. you don’t have to like it but you don’t have to make up dumb reasons for disliking it grandpa. jesus christ

Welcome to the world of guitars. Nothing is ever good enough for all these armchair "experts". Most of them have never been in a band, let alone capable of playing the riffs they shit on day in and day out. It's best to just enjoy the guitarists and riffs you love than to try and take "advice" from some of these people.

I remember hearing Shadow Moses for the first time and feeling like I just got hit by a freight train of heaviness. Started tuning my guitar down to drop b flat, copy Lee’s tone, and took inspiration from it in my own writing. Glad he’s a Jackson artist now.

@@satanistruth666 Are you one of those fans who tries to make the argument that the riffs on pray for plagues are so good and insanely technical because he was only 16 when he came up with those guitar riffs... their deathcore songs sound like songs and guitar riffs an immature 16 year old would play lol. Generic one string grooves with breakdowns, thats sooo technical and hard to play. Even Lee has stated he didn't like that album and was immediately over and ready to move on from deathcore the same year they released that album pray for plagues lol. I'm not a fan of them but I think they are way better now but either way he still be composing basic, one string riffs and their fans act like hes on the same level as Yngwie Malmsteen. He is mediocre as hell. I will always consider this band a Myspace band.
