Jaclyn Smith, Part 1: Reveals her favorite Angels on 'Charlie's Angels,' favorite scene

Jaclyn Smith has always been such a total class act. I love that she remained friendly with Kate, Cheryl, and especially Farrah during her brave fight to live! I never had a favorite angel, but growing up I had all their posters and kept a big scrapbook of Charlie's Angels, the bionic man and woman, and Wonder Woman Lynda Carter.

Jaclyn and Kate have always been close. When Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987, Jaclyn cancelled a flight to NYC to be with Kate. And when Jaclyn had breast cancer 13 years later, Kate was with her. And they both supported Farrah until she passed away. Did you see Jaclyn's and Kate's pic last year when Kate was a guest at Jaclyn's son's wedding? Here's what Jaclyn said to the media: "My friendship with Kate is not a reuniting, it’s a constant. It’s a friendship that will go the distance and will always be an important part of my life. We crossed a bridge together that changed both of our lives."

Jaclyn on Kate and Farrah: "We were just such good friends!" So true! And Jaclyn and Kate are still close! When Kate was a guest at Jaclyn's son's wedding one year ago, it was Kate's first public appearance after 14 years! The last pic (that wasn't paparazzi) was Kate at Farrah's funeral. So this pic of Jaclyn and Kate last year was huge and made headlines! They are both so beautiful. Here's what Jaclyn said to the media: "My friendship with Kate is not a reuniting, it’s a constant. It is so wonderful ( in any profession) when you meet fabulous mentors who help you in the beginning of your career, as beautiful Jaclyn did. Mine was Chris Duncan, she taught me so very much pertaining to the Mortgage industry. I just have so much admiration for Jaclyn Smith. So very talented, and beautiful .

It's a great pity that hardly anyone on any given chance or occasion talk or even mention Shelly Hack or Tanya Roberts. Put all that bond/chemistry the original casts had between them for a moment. Yes, it was important, meaningful etc. We know that. But that doesn't mean you can ignore and dismiss other angels. Those actors worked their a***s off to filled the shoes later in the series and they undoubtedly deserve a lot of credit and approval. To me, they were never just replacements, they were angels.

I agree with you. I wish Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts would get more credit for the show. I don't view them as "replacements" either. To me, we had six Angels.

Jaclyn has done many many interviews over the years. She doesn't say the same thing in every interview. She has definitely said nice things about Shelley and Tanya in various interviews. Cheryl has as well. Tanya also said nice things about Shelley when she met her at a convention. There are photos of them together. They were all very friendly ladies.
