The odd thing is though when we were growing up in the 60s and 70s we eat whatever our parents could afford, almost everything was cooked in the chip pan in beef dripping, a Weetabix was considered inedible without a half an inch thicl layer of sugar on top and dowsed in hot full fat milk, a golden syrup or treacle sandwich was lunch but we were all as thin as rakes. Maybe one fat kid per year at high school and they got a load of grief from all the other kids and called names. So go explain that because I never heard anyone, even dieticians who can.
