I just left Las Vegas and got home today. The food prices have gone up sooooo much. But we still had fun and got some walks in! Tuscany Inn & Suites was the perfect location right off the strip but so close to walk. Very quiet, peaceful, large rooms, the only hotel with coffee in the room and such a large room. The Formula 1 stuff is all over and bit out of control. Ps I like your videos! Thanks for letting us know.

Cosmo is my place at Vegas. I love the Balconies looking at the fountain and they let you smoke out there. I’m shocked all hotels don’t have balconies it’s awesome in morning or winding down at night. Staff have always been great except one time the cleaning staff got very aggressive about getting in room in a morning once. I think they thought we were gone and surprised when i came to door raging. I think because of that shooting at the other hotel they don’t like to let ppl go days without coming into room but they should say that. Never in my life have i had such an aggressive person and there was 2 of them try and get in room to clean & i stay at usually the nicest hotels everywhere i go and they never care. Cosmo might not be the best hotel but for us it is because of balcony with view.

The "flip side" to a late check out is that if I will be checking out early to catch a flight, get on the road whatever, I will always check out at the counter if possible. True, it isn't as convenient as simply dropping the key in a drop box, but it lets the staff know that the room is vacant & that they can start to turn it for the next guest. It also allows me to get a hardcopy of my bill before I leave town.

I had a good experience and felt welcome in every casino even though it was pretty obvious that I would not be gambling big $. I just ate at panda express and I only spent like $50 that day. I have to say I had a good time and would like to visit again. If you think it’s “overpriced” you simply shouldn’t engage in fine dining etc. Nobody forces you to spend excess money in Vegas.

I totally disagree. The hotel rooms used to be cheap. Now they want FOUR times the amount. The buffets used to be affordable and were famous for their prices. Now they're either overpriced or the hotels got rid of them BECAUSE they couldn't gouge people enough. I tried to plan a budget for a measly 3 day vacation for next year. After doing as much research as i could, the costs were despicable. Won't be going. It's not that I can't afford it. It doesn't feel like it's worth the money.

Great vid as usual Jacob; however, you missed one key item. My wife and I were tossed out of the Green Valley Resort last week- Halloween; the reason, I was dressed as The Joker. Despite being in a nice dress suit, and a regular at the resort, three security guards approached me within minutes of entering and explained I was violating Station Casinos security policy by wearing facial paint. Oddly enough, I was told a mask would have been fine; in fact, my wife was dressed as Catwoman and they had no issue with her mask. The explanation given to me was the facial paint defeated their 'facial recognition' security. I gave no push back, but explained I needed to cancel my dinner reservations at one of their establishments for an hour later. They said fine, but I was escorted to the restaurant to cancel and then to the exit door. Offering my ID for review was not an option either; wash the paint off or leave...

As far as noise some of which can be helped such as idiot's loudly closing the doors to their rooms or loudly talking in the hallway to their room. Personally, we did twice in one night call security while we were staying at the Mirage due to partying in the hallway and the next-door room. Security responded immediately and shut it down. Responding again approximately 30 minutes they removed the people from that room.

Not in Vegas, but one time I did have bed bugs in my room at a hotel. I was lucky and managed to trap one in a glass to prove they were there! (also lucky because I spotted them and so I was able to take precautions when I went home.) Even with a caught live Bed Bug the hotel still took a week or so to comp the room because I guess people have done this scam before, so I had to wait until their pest control agents looked at the room and I guess proved the infection was before I checked in. All that to say Don't try to scam a hotel with Bed Bug claims... and DON'T travel with live Bed Bugs as a "Life Hack" against high bills!

K9 bed bug detection! I had no idea that was a thing and it’s pure genius. That a hotel would have to employ such a tactic to protect itself speaks volumes about how low people will go and that’s disappointing. Yes Vegas is expensive, but that a customer would make such a claim as a way to get out of paying for their room is reprehensible. Good for Wynn. Vegas is a business and if you make the decision to go to that business as a customer, you should be prepared to pay for the services that business provides. Making a false claim in order to defraud said business of monies owed should be viewed as just that: fraudulent behavior.

Bed bugs are an interesting topic, my wife one time thought the room was infested with bugs but turns out she had an allergic reaction to something she had eaten. @jacobslifeinvegas I've seen some short videos of the Flamingo Sports Book being replaced with slot machines, and the pool being gutted.. any updates on this property?

During my divorce, I moved to Reno, Nevada. I was in a bit of limbo, so I applied to become a back of the house bartender at a casino. At the interview, I was offered the job, but I refused it because the bar manager told me, “Your job is to get people intoxicated.” Over serving is against Nevada state law (and as far as I know, in every state). I have my share of booze from time to time, but only at home. Nevada casinos will intentionally over serve you, hoping you will spend more on gaming.
