What about pitch training??
@nobume88793 жыл бұрын
for advanced-intermediate i recommend 1st session : 5 minute vocal warmup daily vocal workout 30 min daily vocal exercises 20 min resonance (slide) 2 min head voice 16 min high notes 16min chest voice 15 min pitch durability and flexibility 2 min mixed voice 10 min vibrato exercise 1 min vocal agility 25 min range extension 26 min belting exercises 11 min daily articulation vocal exercise 14 min falsetto workout 11 min vocal tone 2 min daily practice 1 : scales and triads (for pitch accuracy) from the singing school 4 min vocal cooldown 5 min rest for some minutes and then 2nd session (optional): breathing vocal exercise 4 min breathing workout for singers 25 min breathing vocal exercise 1 min daily vocal workout 30 min with chest voice/low notes only daily vocal exercise 20 min with head voice and falsetto/high notes only rest for some minutes note : 2nd session will strain your throat so much if you haven't get used with it, i'd recommend to stop if it's starting to get hurt 3rd session (if your throat is still good): sing some song you want to master/song you like i'd recommend to change the playback speed of 1st session once you get used with it (personally i think it saves time and gives me extra exercise on vocal agility), and if you starting to lose your motivation, there's a video called INCREDIBLE singing transformation video made by Adam Mishan, watch that everytime you feel want to give up btw i've been doing this almost everyday since november 2020 since my raw voice were ugly and annoying, it becames a lot lot lot better since that time, i don't do this only when i'm exhausted, busy or it's my day off, i'd recommend to hire a vocal teacher if you have money for it, maybe like once per months, since i don't have it i can't really know am i doing right or not, or am i improving or just staying as far i'm doing this i got : a powerful voice (people can hear me from 6m away from me without straining my voice) control to my voice (i can easily reach low or high notes as i want) high notes (to the point i can make girls voice even i'm a straight man) low notes (sexy voice mmmmmmhhh) and 2 times (i think) getting sore throat and it caused me high fever (epic) but still, i can't really change my raw voice, it got better but my raw voice still sticking with me, when i sing it sounds good to my ear but when i record it it's bad, it's better than average people tho but it still not tthat good, i think i need to learn to love my own voice ah and also if you think i just spending a lot of hours only for doing my vocal exercise, i actually played this exercise while i'm doing my things (such like studying, playing games, watching youtube and a lot other things) since all you need is open your voices and listen to the instructions maybe for addition i want to add : daily pitch training 19 min daily riffs and runs (normal) 11 min daily vocal tones 17 min daily vocal fry 14 min vocal exercises for a powerful voice (with a straw) 12 min low notes 10min but that cost me more time, maybe i'll make a schedule to optimize it again, i need to sing more too hehe lastly, i'm a man (or boy?) and i'm still 17th when i'm typing this long long reply, so i still have a lot of time and long future (sorry for the bad english), i don't think it's impossible for me even i'm born without musical talent (for me it's a miracle that i can reach this point), so .... well, goodluck, strangers~

Quick question, were you able to sing good before these exercises or you were a naturally born singer I’m asking for a friend named me 😅
@lightofthenight43453 жыл бұрын
@@PhetoloP I know this is a late reply and you didn't ask me, but I've always wanted to sing (never been great at it) and after using the 20 minute daily exercise, 5 minute vocal warm up, and this video for a good bit (not consecutive, but maybe 4/5 months) I've noticed an insane amount of control I've never had in my voice, along with the ability to hear more what my voice sounds like coming out of my mouth without needing to record as much to know what I'm messing up on. I am much more confident in my singing ability, after having done his training exercises! I actually like my voice now!

This helped me discover that I can sing in soprano 😱
@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano13945 жыл бұрын
That's good, well done! If you haven't already done so, try the songs from Phantom. When you can reach those top notes, you've made it. But NEVER overwork your vocal chords or you could damage them. One step at a time. There is another very good site I use which covers all the male and female voices. I use the soprano exercises, They have helped me tremendously.
@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano13945 жыл бұрын
Josie, I presume you just meant you would like to sing as good as Sierra Boggess - yes she is a fabulous singer, but do always be yourself. She is also one of my favourites, along with Lea Salonga, Carmen Monarcha and Julie Andrews and Kiri Te Kanawa.
@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano13945 жыл бұрын
Yes, musical theatre is my favourite genre (followed by light opera). Musical theatre, because I love acting out songs with great emotion. I have several MT songs on my KZbin channel.
@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano13945 жыл бұрын
Josie, the main site I use is JEFF ROLKA. I mentioned him when I replied to you earlier. Google him, you should find him easily. You also need to do lip trills as they help with air flow.
@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano13945 жыл бұрын
6 hours a day sounds an awful lot of practice. I do upper body work outs followed by a practice from the Verba Vocal site, then I do my vocalizing (which is the scale and arpeggios, around 30 minutes or a little lesson, then I start my singing. Anyway, glad your voice has improved. Just don't wear it out before you start the singing! You do sound very enthusiastic and it is lovely to chat to someone who is so interested in singing.
