@@TheFakeyCakeMaker Well there's really nowhere that u can actually search what each of these exercises help with. And it's good to know what u are being taught and what parts u exercise through it. But if u find smth like that tell me
@Fakidomutitsa4 жыл бұрын
@@andreita3207 well i dont hear any explanation in the video. I'm not talking about instructions on how to do it. I'm talking about simple stuff. U pass knowledge. Personally I want to know if I do the first exercise or the second or smth, what are the benefits and what part it targets and with what it helps and all that.. I mean i want to get the knowledge of it. And from my experience, cause I've been doing vocal lessons for a lot of years, it helps u much more to know what u are actually doing and what it does to you. Apart from that yes, there should be more explanation on how it has to sound, what's the right way how it should sound, what area does it target and all that. U don't know who might be watching these videos and u can't know how much u can amage their voice just because u don't explain to them. Cause when u do these exercises from the video, there's no one to correct u there. So u don't actually know if u are doing it right or not and in that way u might be harming ur voice without realising. To me, its a really big responsibility to teach the vocal techniques and its really serious to not do it right cause u can pretty easily learn a bad technique and not even realise that. I have a student who used to sing and hadn't realised how wrong he was doing it all this time and how much he has damaged his voice. So in conclusion, u should be really careful with the videos u watch and the exercises u do. Also not all exercises work for everyone so it's better if the person making the video, specifies and stresses that, and additionally, explain for who it's best and blah blah blah.

@@keepcalmanddanceon9128 Vocal fry is commonly used by metal vocalists. Black metal, death metal are very common metal genres where you’re most likely gonna hear a lot of songs with the vocalists using vocal fry. If you train your vocal fry to resonate in your head and grow your sound, you’ll one day be able to audition for your local death or black metal band hahahah If you wanna hear some clear examples, listen to Pantera. The legendary Phil Anselmo is a master at this technique, and has used it in almost every song I’ve heard him in.

Practicing vocal fry can offer several benefits, particularly for singers and public speakers. Vocal fry is a vocal technique characterized by a low, creaky, and rattling sound produced by the slow vibration of the vocal cords. Here are some reasons why practicing vocal fry can be advantageous: Vocal Warm-up and Relaxation: Incorporating vocal fry exercises in your warm-up routine helps to gently engage and relax the vocal cords. This can be especially beneficial before more intense vocal activities, such as belting or singing in a higher range. Vocal Health: Vocal fry exercises can help promote vocal cord flexibility and reduce strain on the vocal cords, which can contribute to maintaining better vocal health over time. Vocal Range Extension: Regular practice of vocal fry can aid in expanding your vocal range, particularly in the lower register. It helps to strengthen and coordinate the muscles responsible for producing low-pitched sounds. Voice Control: Learning to control vocal fry allows singers and speakers to explore different vocal textures and add variety to their performances. It can be used to create interesting vocal effects and enhance emotional expression in storytelling or singing. Breath Control: Vocal fry exercises encourage proper breath control, as maintaining a consistent flow of breath is crucial to produce the characteristic rattling sound. Vocal Style and Expression: Vocal fry is a common stylistic element in contemporary music genres like pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Practicing vocal fry can help singers develop a more contemporary and authentic sound for certain genres. Speech and Articulation: Working with vocal fry can improve speech and articulation skills, as it requires precise control over the vocal cords and airflow. However, it's essential to use vocal fry in moderation and with proper technique. Excessive or improper use of vocal fry can lead to vocal fatigue or strain. Like any vocal exercise, it's best to practice under the guidance of a vocal coach or instructor who can provide feedback and ensure you are using the technique safely and effectively. As with all vocal exercises, it's crucial to listen to your body and be mindful of any signs of vocal strain or discomfort. Proper vocal care, hydration, and regular breaks during practice are essential for maintaining vocal health and maximizing the benefits of vocal fry exercises
