I understand that. I believe all of what we do is shaped by our environment, but I also believe that genetics have a strong impact -- again -- on HOW we interpret things. Some people can grow up in the same environment but the intricate processes that occur beneath the veil of social conditioning are nearly beyond explanation.

I understand and agree with many things that Jacque talks about... but what I find ironic about his creative theories is that they tend to neglect the innate creativity that humans have. I know he believes fully in conditioning, but I also think that there are innate human traits that ALL humans develop through ANY type of atmospheric and environmental conditioning. I LOVE these ideas, and I wish that we could implement them and create a THIS human society, but I actually LIKE human error, too.

The way genes work is basically, depending on your environment, certain genes will be turned on and some not. But when we talk about behavior, it is directly caused by what society teaches us, good and bad. People like to think, the good people do reflects the society, but they don't consider the same for the bad.

There is no good and bad behavior. In some small communities, things you would absolutely without a doubt consider abhorrent, are completely normal, and vice-versa.

I want to ask Jacque on VenuS Project related question. IF everything is affordable , even goods , how is it going to be distributed between people. Because im sure that no one can have as much as they want , because there is no limit in that system , where as our world has limits.

@Ultra4 Well it grows prolifically and can be used to create abundance. Also it would be given it's medical dues so to speak. There's some connection there. And the whole non-harm medical philosophy in regards to crime and the open-source decision making would provide basis for logical management of such issues.

A quick question for Jacque: While I agree with a lot of what he is saying, I find it hard to believe that there is no such thing as "human nature" at all. What about things like beauty? Are we to believe that ALL of our judgments about what is beautiful and ugly are merely the result of conditioning? What about studies that show that cross-culturally males tend to find women more attractive who have certain waist-to-hip ratios? Are we to believe that the desire for sex is not innate?

It's almost like saying that the body is merely a shell, so there seems to be a connection between what he says and a soul, he just doesn't know it. That's why I feel anyone listening to him can relate because what he says can speak to everybody save for the few who need the most help.

@HitMakerSolo Until you can show me the exact process of how this can be done I have no reason to believe that water has memory. Water doesn't arrange itself into a regular structure until it freezes into ice and even then there's no way to detect how the individual atoms are arranged in the crystalline structure with current technology. There's also a lot cheaper ways to do this with crystals that are in a solid state of matter at room temperature.

I have a question for Jacque and a request....I hope that he sees this , or at least the moderator , so that he can be contacted..Jacque have you watched "The money masters" . Please watch it. It's a 3 hour long documentary on how our economy is fucked up. And it also notes that the idea of the people behind a conspiracy is to collapse our economy to make themselves even richer. Please watch it, because if that's true it can contradict the only way the Venus Project can get launched!!! PLEASE!

Hey Jacques, I'm a great fan of yours and the Venus Project in general, Zeitgeist and so on. I just wanted to add however that while your knowledge is exceptionally broad, you are wrong about the primary reason why chinese girls are killed. Its not lack of food (maybe in extremely marginal villages), its because of the one-child policy and the cultural preference for boys in that society. Only sons can inherit the family property and maintain the name and legacy etc..

Sorry, this was submitted 4 months ago. Some of my ideas have changed because I've done more research... As for innate characteristics: genetics play a huge role in how we interact with one another and our environment. Some people have better genes and cells than others... these facilitate HOW we learn and interpret things.

Well, humans being, almost entirely social beings, I think it's pretty safe to assume society is the thing causes all the good and bad. You do know that our DNAs are basically the same, just the physical differences, which is like a .0001% (guessed that number) difference.

@wtfpurepwned Of course we always try to project. Why do you think all the god(s) we worship have the same characteristics we do including getting angry, jealousy and killing people... They're so like us that they have human faces. This ought to show you that we made god(s) and not the other way around because we project our shit onto a "greater power". That's also the point of the Sagan video clip in my last response. If we KNOW that we're projecting then we can also train ourselves to stop it.

@yapayzeka I don't understand the first sentence. You could instead explain how nature works to the child at a younger age. Tell him about the circle of life, educate him. You don't need to get into the specifics of decaying corpses, just the general idea. Filling an impressionable child's head with lies is generally bad.

There are a few reasons for people not understanding or wanting to accept the theory. Either they had a teacher who chose to leave it out of the lectures because of fear of 'upsetting' their students(religious) or the teacher themselves cannot accept the fact and left it out, or the student is taught the theory and because of serious brainwashing by their religious culture, decide not to accept it. @wtfpurepwned Of course. You are right that we fool ourselves to make us feel good about what we really are which are a composite of all previous experiences. If you were born into a tribe that practices cannibalism or some sort of brutal religion then if your brain simply isn't perceptive enough to know or imagine anything external to your environment then you won't find anything wrong with your religion or choice of diet. You will continue to decay and think it's "natural" and inevitable.

@wtfpurepwned But, there is "liberation" from this: youtube[dot]com / watch?v=5SHc67Hep48 2:45 frontal lobes allow us to anticipate the future. If we can anticipate an unpleasant future we can take steps to avoid it. 7:00 Reptilian brain. Dangerous stuff. Sex, aggression, child "rearing", following leaders blindly. 9:15 Brain library is 10,000 times larger than our gene library which means genetic determinism is crap. 12:10 Cerebral cortex means we don't have to act like lizards and chimps.
@ohforfsakeletmein

@mcaruso0204 Beauty is purely subjective. Some people find spiders beautiful, others find them disgusting. Some people like thin women, others like wider women. Desire for sex and "body ratios" are 2 different things. The desire for sex is clearly genetic serving the purpose of reproduction. Without this genetic information our species would've died out. But "attractiveness" is highly subjective and I don't see anything useful in statistics showing what "most" people prefer.

@wtfpurepwned No, it's old trash. It's not even an original idea either. Water has no memory and CANNOT be affected by thoughts, otherwise things like homeopathy would have taken over chemical pharmaceuticals long ago. youtube[dot]com / watch?v=RstwLzikmvA Just think. If water has memory and just by you thinking and praying over water will affect it, why bother with chemical pharmaceuticals? Just sprinkle holy water that has been prayed over to cure your flu.

@wtfpurepwned Sure, but so what? You're born and if you begin to analyze yourself you'll realize how fucked up people are for ruining the world and killing each other when there's so much already naturally wrong with us that you'll be lucky NOT to have a miserable painful death by the time your body malfunctions from old age. There's already things in nature like viruses and bacteria that's out to kill you, so why make it even worse by inventing new ways to kill each other?
