I always believed Jackie Kennedy only wanted Ari Onassis for his Millions! Jacqueline and Teddy Kennedy fought Christina Onassis and got 24 Million. This was after Ari Onassis died in Paris, France of a rare disease! Jacqueline always interested in big money had top NYC Attorneys negotiate her settlement from the Ari Onassis Estate. Jacqueline, Caroline and John lived on Easy Street after the money was released to Jacqueline in 1976 or 1977. Jacqueline used her status as a US First Lady to snag up, one the wealthiest men in Greece. She lived there for at least seven years during the marriage.

Jacqueline loved the Kennedy Money ( Joe Kennedy had the money not JFK). I am aware that Jacqueline had to beg Stephen Smith ( Son - in- Law of Joe Kennedy/ married to Jean Kennedy) for extra money after 1963.Stephen Smith in NYC, ran many financial affairs for the Joe Kennedy Trusts and Real Estate. Jacqueline loved Ari Onassis as her protector! He ( Ari) likely saved her sanity after RFK was gunned down in California! The move to Greece got Jacqueline back on her feet. Jacqueline and Teddy Kennedy bullied Christina Onassis for the 24 Million Dollar Settlement! That money paid out in late 1975 or 1976. Jacqueline had never been nice, and money was always in the back.of her mind ,when marrying Ari Onassis ( Jacqueline used top NYC attorneys to help her fight Christina).
