With the stopper in the open (up) position and you step on the stopper, will this damage the cable mechanism? Basically forcing the plunger down with the cable mechanism in the open position.

how do i know wich drain kit to buy , i got my whirlpool jacuzzi tub at the habitat for humanity store, this is all new to me.

Mine is pouring water out of the cable area? You have the same issue? I need to contact jacuzzi. Ruined my ceiling tiles in my basement...

@@JB-gi5mz yes same issue . If shower, can hear a drip om the ceiling from first floor. I heard its worst when filling the tub then draining.
