Really love the idea of discussing conflict at family meetings. Discussing these things when both parties are removed from the intense feelings of the moment would be far more productive than arguing when tensions are high.

I'm glad that you are posting videos a little more often. You, your children and your overall atmosphere in your home irradiate such peace, it is like a breath of fresh air in the middle of everything that is going on in the world. As always, your videos are very helpful. 🧡💙💛💚💜

Using your Amazon link awhile back ago. I purchased the book Manners and Tips For Caring Kids. The way I use the book I take 2 spirits a week. Example Mon, Wed, Friday we read, talk about it and play about gentleness. Tues, Thurs, we read, and play self-control. I recommend this book.

Would you consider making a video specifically about sibling attachments (not necessarily rivalry or fighting) and what parents can do to make the sibling relationship stronger. You touched on it a little bit here but Id love to learn more.

Thanks so much. I agree if they don't want to share something they don't have to. Most people disagree with this. They had it first they need be respected. Also I see favoritism so much in families this causes so much conflict and hurt.

Needed this so much. Thank you Jady. I have 3 kids 6 and under amd some days they are always at each other. Making fun of each other, distupting each other, wanting what other has etc. Has made me an angry mom. These advices were amazing. Gone try putting them into practice.

Hi Jady, you are a wonderful mom and I inspire you. Can you plz upload videos for the older kids as well because my eldest one is 9 years old and the youngest is 4 years old. I see more videos for Preschools in your channel. It will be more beneficial to see videos for bigger kids like fourth graders. Your kids are very lucky to have you. Good luck in your career

I love your videos. You were the first person I started watching when I started thinking about homeschooling. I am so happy to have found your channel. Hearing you talk about the sharing part reminded me of the conversation I had with my husband the other day (he said your exact words LOL). We're currently going through this challenge at home with our 3 (almost 4 year old daughter ) and 1 year old (almost 2 year old son). It's a little hard to get a conversation or understanding to them across the crying and yelling (I'm assuming because they are so small). Any other tips for them being so small?🙃

Do you have any tips for bringing children into the home that are not yours? We recently (about 2 months ago) had two of our baby cousins move in with us, ages 7 and 9. My children are ages 5 and 9. I've noticed that a lot of power struggling is going on between 3 of them. My 5 year old seems okay with everything, but the older 3 are constantly fighting over little things. One of them goes to play a game, then all of a sudden the other wants to play it. They all have old phones to play little games on, but they are not satisfied with the ones they have, they each want the others. I am trying my best to make the transition fair for everyone and make my baby cousins feel as if they are my own while also trying to show my 2 that I don't love them any less but this constant power struggle between them all is getting very mentally draining on me.

How do you handle the smallest child I have an 8,6 and 2 year old and the difference of age is challenging because the two oldest are more mature to play with certain things but then my 2 year old takes everything apart if they color he takes them away or climbs on the table they are playing and makes a mess. I tell him NO and try to entertain him with other stuff but he just want to do what the older kids are doing too.

Wow!!! “ This is another human being wanting to play” teaching empathy as well awesome. Jady, I have a question how many hours of play do your children get every single day? I am very bad at that due to a hectic schedule. And also a puppy German Shepherd that is at our back door waiting for my children to finish school and ready to play. I feel bad for my children and our dog sometimes we do not get much or any outdoor play.
