Sam Mewis! I am sad you are not playing. You and Rose Lavelle were a joy for me to watch. I felt the us women team was invincible when you were both in the mid-field. Futsal is a great way for young payers to develope there technical skills in tight spaces, This is why Jayden's technique is so good, US soccer should implement Futsal training for all youth national teams. Anson Dorrance also had that idea

Props to Jaedyn's parents for having the smarts to start their daughter in futsal instead of going straight to soccer. This is the standard progression for Brazilian youth players. If it's good enough for Brazilians, it's good enough for Nats players.

Incidentally, indoor soccer as it is played in the midwest and east coast is not the same thing and does not develop the same footskills in tight spaces needed for futsal since there is always the opportunity to run/kick your way out of pressure.
