All you have to do is chop your sample, go to program edit, use warp to beat, select tempo button, and use the cog wheel to adjust the transients to the grid. It's just that simple. MPC makes it easy.

Dude , you ever looked 8nto the arpegiator menu itself ? There are all kinda different action and pattern mode , for baselines , chords for dance , hip hop , RnB , or strums for guitar , you name it. I discovered it last week
@threal68704 ай бұрын
Always go with the given tempo. Loops with tails are a pain in the ass, but all you gotta do is chop the end off. Then make sure it’s right before you time stretch it. Loops with no tail are pretty straight forward.

yes i had the maschine before mpc , you will get more out of maschine because its a daw vs the mpc i only really brought for standalone and the speakers, it just depends on how you want your workflow to be

Coming from the mv8000 im very familiar with using audio trcks. In fact I was really surprised at the amount of ppl who werent using this method. It was the first trick i learned on mpc one fer real. Great video as usual regardless.

What is the difference between extract and discard?
@chokboywonda4 ай бұрын
It will tell you when you go to do it. Extract will extract the portion from the sample and then you can create a new sample. Discard will get rid of everything outside of the selected portion and leave you with the original sample minus the discarded elements.

For me the weak point of the MPC is the time stretch it's really very complicated I don't understand Akai's logic at this level despite your video I still don't understand I prefer to do it on FL and transfer it to the MPC too much step for somthing very simple i hop an update to simplify this

very true but im having faith that when the mpc live 3 drop its going to be game over lol but yea this is definitely something i want them to work on, everyone was so hype about stems but in my mind all im thinking is just an upgrade to time stretch
