Well, playing Leopard PT A in "hulldown" (virtually no difference for this tank) I somehow bounced or what was it Jgdpz. E100. And maybe something like T110E3 as well. Can imagine feelings of those guys on the other side. 😂 I feel the same too often 😥

This tank destroyer was the heaviest tank to ever see battle of fight in a war or conflict. It was fighting Sherman and other tier 5 and 6 tanks in WW2.

It literally annihilated the Shermans in the last week of the war. There are records of a platoon of 3 of these beasts massacring dozens of shermans in their path and the americans were just running away from them until the Jagdtigers literally stopped in front of them, the sherman crews were shitting in their pants and the crews in the 3 Jadgtigers surrendered. It was like 'hey, we appeared now, if we had appeared 3-4 years ago the war would be different, we just wanted to test them out before the end of the war'

@@mrbrittas3254 The tank was in the prototype stage, it never saw the light sooner because of the lack of, literally, fuel. The bomb marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new one, this td was the best example of warfare, where tank vs tank meant something, it's literally years ahead of the Shermans. The only other example similar to this was the ME-262, totally revolutionary but too late to appear. By the way, the germans had the bomb, the printouts too before the americans until the scientists went to USA. Had they not gone to USA and today the world would be a very different place.

This tank is good agreed, however it has been horrendously powercreeped over the years, and note to fact that in the current meta, the Wafflecock is way superior in most aspects to the JT

Tank has essentially no Armor vs tier 9 and 10s, especially gold ammo which 80% of people will spam at this tier. But it is balanced as if it does have Armor, so it has all the disadvantages of a super heavy armoured tank, I.e. slow, big, no camo. WG could do a better job at updating old tanks like these.

@@SirMcAwesome WG should do only 2 things... Limit goldammo to max 15% of full ammo-capacity for all vehicles AND each and every single tank should get least 1 real cupola to hit... Whole lines would be playable again, including this one as well...

I still remember they nerfed the engines of some German tanks, including this one, to make it "more historically accurate" years ago but WG didn't followed it up to other nations. Placing the old engine would be a good starting point to buff the Jagdtiger.

This tank works best when you are losing and the enemies are breaking through. If your team is winning and moving forward it is hard to make it work, like most slow TDs.

In terms of tank destroyers this tank and the Tortoise where the two that I had the most fun on and enjoyed every second when I got their final guns because it was just a absolute Massacre. The rahmatov borsig waffentrager is just one of my all-time favorite tank stores as well. I love that thing and I can do so much work with it.

This td has the legendary gun the WT E-100 had, that's why the td it's so great with the gun handling. It's kind of a slow glass cannon but it can brawl frontally against anyone because it has great dpm and awesome penetration. I remember buying this tank and even the Ferdinand gun on it with 490 alpha worked really well but the 560 alpha gun is just incredible.

As soon as you got the Engine you had one the most pleasant stock grinds ever. You begin with a Tier X Heavy gun which works just fine until you get the Top Gun. I loved it. Gonna buy it back if it gets on Top of the Tree again.

@@metallbroetchen I decided to re-buy the WT Pz IV and I'm definitely getting this old gem back, the Jadgpanther E-100 is really clunky indeed. I remember fully grinding this td in just two days because of how much I loved it, I should have kept it like with the T30. It's astnishing how good some tier 9 tds are and how bad the tier 10s are, there's no advantage but drawbacks.

Yes.. Kinda love this tank when I grind Jagdpizza.. But, the most I hate about this tank is, the superstructure is nothing when you had about 280/290mm pen, you can smack his superstructure like hot knife through the butter.. Kinda different when you compare to 263 or WZ 113 td chinese tonk.. The gun, yeah might be somehow accurate, and kinda trollish..

Back in the day, around 2012, when I first got Jagdtiger, i thought it had the best gun in the game. It was feared and the armour was more reliable as there were fewer high pen guns in the game. And it was top of the line, no Jpz 100 in 2011

Tbh even u still have to aim at the weakspot, strv 103b got a good pen for both AP and APCR yet it bounces everything and sometimes the shoot went somewhere else even with a good aiming time

I have bounced a JGPz E100 shell with a 13 90, but I wouldn't say the 13 90 has relevant armor...

And then you look at WT auf Pz 4 and realize it has: - same gun (dpm, alpha, accuracy etc) - a fully traversable turret and like 50 degrees of gun elevation for max flexibility - better camo It's just a better tank

@@MarvinWestmaas I said that based my own experience. I 3rd marked Jagdtiger and played in frontline. Ofc if there is lot of high pen T10 i will stay back. But in front just angle your armor and try bait with your gunmantle. In close range you dont even need to aim.

Jagdtiger a 'good' tank? Am I really seeing people claim this? It's a piñata, highly situational / not flexible at all, the armor is irrelevant and the speed is bad and it has no turret. Yes, armor works.. against lower tiers. Rest farms you right back, armor is irrelevant in WoT, speed/cammo/flexibility is king and this thing has nothing to offer in that regard.

Top world-class game mechanics right there, couldn't pen an almost flat like surface from no distance with 276mm pen. But of course yes the (good) premium tanks costs +-40 euros , + battle pass + gold coins, so you can have this type of mechanics and match making! Or pay nothing and make progress when you reach the third age. What a fucking joke for a game honestly.

???? It’s hull armour is total cheese, 200mm effective gets you penned by even some tier 7’s. It’s Super structure is 250mm flat, which gets you penned by most tier 8’s using gold, all tier 9’s using gold and most tier 10’s firing standard ammo. Compare that to the tortoise, which is almost impenetrable to most tanks without gold. You either must be supper cappin or you don’t know how to use the Tortoise’s armour properly.
