One of the reason that jagtiger is awesome is that HP pool, especially in a city map when you can trade with your opponent. 560 alpha and that almost tier 10 HP pool is actually amazing.

hp pool and the fact you dont need to be afraid to take on tier 10 tanks , 1 lonely jagtiger can pretty much lock up one side of the map if theres other players covering the middle

It and other German tanks, the Tiger 1, Tiger 2, E-75, Tier 9 E-50, JagdPanther 2, all had one more tier of engine removed for some stupid and pointless change to make the game more historical. I can't remember if the JagdPanther was also affected. But many other German tanks were altered during that patch. It was pointless and stupid because the other nations didn't get the same changes. So balance is disrupted because one set of tanks were balanced differently from the rest. Granted they received a top speed buff that makes their speed more in line to how tanks from other nation top speed, their top road speed, and ground resistance buffs. But all it did was making mobility more or less the same if not worse as the lost of the top engine made acceleration and top speed on inclines worse and harder to reach their new top speed on flat ground. Just look how slow the JagdTiger crawls up that gentle incline at 23:55. Mobility is probably the most important attribute in WoT and probably THE meta as well. This is because it improves versatility which allows better adaptation to different situations. This is why mediums and mobile heavies can do better is most situations. That is why TDs like the 268 v4 can dominate in more situations but it is an exception in the TD class. With TDs losing their class bonus of having better camo. It is time to improve their versatility with improved mobility and even HP as most TDs have less HP than even same tier mediums and heavies especially if they are based off of those same meds and heavies.

WG labeled this as an assault td as of one of the recent updates in 2022. Definitely NOT an assault td with all the gold spam. The superstructure is super weak against gold and even standard shells can pen the frontal hull upper plate. Definitely more of a mid-range or long-range sniper for sure. Assault td hell naw

Skill4ltu, no questions about how you are a very good player and one of the Tops in this game, but whenever i watch your videos or stream you jump into best matchmaker battles or best maps for the tank type you selected. I had so much fun with the Jagdtiger, it is sad as hell that still beign not a good tank in the current meta, is miles away better than the jpz e100, with lower profile, better mobility, gun overall and camo. While the jpz e100 armor is non existant anymore at tier 10, oh and god forbid a wheeled tank flank it, you can basically just turn to the garage. And WG wonders why people is moving to tier 9 this days. Some lines make no sense at all compared to 2 years ago.

For me 705 was pain in the ass, I simply didnt enjoy the tank and finished playin with about 1200 dmg avg. Maybe because I was using the small gun... But 705 a, damn I got 1 Mark almost immediately.

I really hate the fact that game ignores the historical facts most of the time. This tank was a beast and had perhaps the best gun of all the World War 2. Its frontal armor was rock solid as well. The enemy of this was again itself. Engine problems made things difficult and there many failure issues. First of all, this TD line is a turretless TD line. Tanks are already sacrificing the ability of rotating and shooting. Secondly, they are very slow. When there are down sides like these, you expect some really strong perks, right? No. The game does not give a single shit about it. Tanks like 268 4 and 110E3 have better armor and there are other TDs which have better accuracy or firepower. There is a hidden hate for the German tanks in this game. Even a stupid tier 7 could load gold ammo and penetrate you easily while running down the hill in YOLOLOLO style. After having all these mobility and flexibility sacrifices, this tanks supposed to have a very decent frontal armor and gun. This was my very first tank line in the game but unfortunately it was a great disappointment for me.
