He stepped down for his sexual comments towards a sevice member. He was publicly humiliated. If a Republican did that you would chastize them. @patricksullivan7140 if this happened to a maga republican he would first say it was just locker room hyjinks, then he would outright deny that it ever took place (despite the video evidence) and then claim it was a fake from the "deep state". Franken should have apologized for the obvious stupid transgression and remained in the senate. Go gaslight someone else.
@evaadams82982 ай бұрын
@@patricksullivan7140And there lies the difference, a MAGA can do anything he or she likes and people just say “Oh that’s ok that was ages ago”, whereas the Dems have a bit of decency and morals. You should acknowledge that under President Biden, the economy has made huge progress in turning things around from the disaster of trump. To keep us on track to normalcy and a continuing improving economy, the only choice is Harris/Walz. We also need to restore the rights of all our citizens including women and LGBTQ people. To do that, we need a majority in the House and Senate as they are the legislative body that can move the bills through to the president to become law.
@coreyham37532 ай бұрын
@@rhondah1587 Well stated. Harris is making a mistake in saying she will not be a continuation of the Biden administration. She should acknowledge that she will continue with the significant accomplishments that Biden started, such as Chips Act, infrastructure, drug pricing, etc. However she should add that she intends to add to that with significant new directions as well. Such as comprehensive income tax reform, comprehensive immigration reform, reform of the Supreme Court, and other important issues.

One place I worked a fellow employee convinced me to listen to some rush limbaugh shows which was good to broaden my education on identifying idiots.

Hey Marc, thanks for having Al Franken on your PC. He's about as authentic as it gets. Awesome talent with a big heart. Made a great Senator. One of the best.

Sen. Franken is very smart, very funny and humble about both of these attributes. I ALWAYS learn something when listening to him and I always enjoy it. I wish there were more people like him in the U.S. government. God bless him!

Every time I see Al franken I remember how very much I appreciated him while was in the Senate. I actually don't remember what the "awful" thing that happened to him that required him to resign. I'm sure that if we looked hard enough we could find someone who has done far worse!
