Conspiracy theory: In 2010 Amir watched a trailer of Undercover Boss and badly misinterpreted the concept. At the time Amir owned college humor (one of his few successful business ventures) and decided to go undercover in 2011. He met the lonely and very insecure Jake Herwitz and decided to befriend him by being a goofy character to make Jake feel better about himself. As time went on Amir was too far undercover and couldn't tell Jake that he was the owner of the company without ruining their friendship. Amir couldn't be fired and anytime he was with Jake he actually didn't have any work to do because the 6-7 hours that he was "late" he was doing his job as CEO of the company before coming in to hang out with Jake (with some crazy excuse why he was late). They left college humor because Amir sold the company to Sam Reich. Look back on any episode and see if it fits into the "Undercover Boss Theory"

I've watched these over like, 3 different channels, from when I was barely in middle school all the way to a full grown adult, and they still crack me up just as hard as they used to. I genuinely have unintentionally used J&A memes as shibboleths for friend groups. I passed someone in a city wearing an Ace and Joselyn shirt like 6 years ago and I still think about it today. These two have influenced my humour so much, and I can't describe how fortunate I am for these still to be coming out. One thing I love about J&A is how they augment their own bits. Amir just repeating things at the beginning I’d pretty standard, I’d say, and we expect Jake to pretty quickly give in an engage with Amir. But this time it goes on for so long that you as the viewer feel as if it’s a fresher laugh.
