Steven was ready to end it all before he watched a movie about someone else's struggles. Now he's turned everything around and is paying it forward each day. Wait until you see the surprise at the end.

I have watched this at least a hundred times because I can relate. To see my childhood hero go thru what he went thru and then to turn his life around and help others like this gentlemen turn his life around is so powerful. If I told I didn't cry at least once watching this I would be lying to you. Yes I have my demons that I fight daily and I've came from dark places but I will turn my life around and be the loving, caring and sober husband I should be and I need to be for my wife and for my son. I love each and everyone of you thats reading this and WE will get thru this together. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

My cousin Gary is going through some tough times right now. He's thinking about ending his own life. Garry, if your watching this, I hope it helps you bro. I've been down that dark road myself and without God's help I wouldn't be here today to watch this. God Bless you DDP and you too Jake. You were one of my favorite wrestlers growing up and I so happy you stepped into the light. 'Come on, come on out of the Darkness. Come on, come on out of the night. No more, no more living in the shadows now. Step into the Light! Come on, come on no looking back now. Come on, come on run for your life. No more, no more living in the shadows now. When that trumpet hit while he’s speaking. Just fucking punched me in the chest in a good way. It finally let out the emotions and finally let me take my first breathe of fresh air and I can finally see what I done to myself and listen to the others who been in the outside of the box and been trying to tell me things that I haven’t took in about 2 years.

So, yeah. At 3:09 this funny thing started happening to my eyes, and then it hit my nose. Man, I missed The Snake, and I didn't even know it. He was the first wrestler I liked as a little kid, and I remember getting so upset when he lost a match. I was like 7-8 at the time, but man hearing his voice just takes me right back to 2nd grade all over again. I'm glad he's still around :)

I wish I could be like this man. I've "been there" so many times over these past 6 years. I want so badly to just have it all end. My situation is different than most others so just "deciding to change it" isn't an option. Yet it still hurts. Sometimes more physically... sometimes more emotionally. I cry a lot, and cried watching this video as well. It sucks. For some of us the option isn't there to get better. I'm just glad that so many people have gotten better with the help from others. I wish I had that. I have the greatest wife in the history of humanity, but she works so often trying to pay the bills, and get me to doctors to try to figure out what's wrong in order to keep me alive. I know that feeling of being super human. Working in the ring I learned from others what to avoid. I kept such a good grasp on my demons, yet it was the physical breakage that I never seen coming. The worst part is that I have no one to really talk to... then again, I dont really want anyone to talk to. I pushed all my friends away when I fell ill because I couldn't stand seeing that look in their eyes. I couldn't take it knowing I caused them sadness. I've wanted to die for almost 5 years now. I promised my wife I wouldn't end my life unless she allowed it. But the physical pain keeps growing and my emotional suffering seems to add to it. The painkillers help, but there are still nights where pain is so severe that I end up on bathroom floor unable to get back up, and it sends my body into shock to the point that it causes me to vomit my own feces. I'm 41 now and I lived an amazing life up until I was 35 and fell ill. I wish there were something that could help me, but I lost the use of my left arm/leg, and Ive spent every minute in bed that wasn't at a doctor over these years. I've tried to force myself better, but instead of growing stronger, it only takes more and more away from me. I'd like to think this is a cry for help from me, but the reality of it all is that help isn't in my future.I want to live... not just be "alive". Yet the universe is indifferent to our needs and sufferings. So rather than a cry for help, it's a cry for the universe to let me go. I'm so exhausted. I'm so tired of putting that burden on my wife. Yet no matter what my mind and heart wants, my body is unable to respond. Losing your body is rough.. but losing your mind... that's brutal. I feel better just typing it out, but physically I cant even type any longer. So keep helping others. I wish I could get help, and I miss hellping others myself but sometimes you just have to take the bumps that life dishes out. It is one big shitshow after all. Be kind. :)

MrCarter'sRods I do pray that things get better for you. Don’t give up. Tell yourself that u are happy over and over again no matter what and eventually u will be. Get closer to God. Pray. And do at least one thing every day to achieve the goals u want in life. Rebuke the devil that is keeping u down. God created u for a purpose and puts us thru things for a purpose. Never give up.
