When you are vlogging, do not use natural or vibrant...they make you look like you have intense sunburns...use flat for a true natural look, more details, wider dynamic range. Save natural and vibrant for action/spors type shots.

Final cut pro, if you have Apple mac. If not, then “premier pro” for windows. If you want something simple, then you should try “Filmora” .. For something much complicated and works best for color grading your videos “davinci resolve” I recommend premiere pro for you, and hope it helps

Hey Jake, getting ready to get the gopro10 for a trip to Alaska leaving next weekend. I usually take my Sony 4K camcorder but it's a pain trying to set it on the dashboard to shoot when we're driving so when I use the GoPro 10 and mount it with the suction cup. I have to turn my camera off and on after I go through different types of scenery I will only get about 15 seconds of each and then it's easier to add it is there any way other than using the voice prompt to turn it off and on or a setting where I can set it to record whenever I change scenery on the road? I'm guessing the only way to do it is to have the voice activated and constantly say record and stop but then again won't that drain the battery?

Im soooo excited to follow these instructions, just got my first big boy camera, gopro10 delivered and Im eager to learn the setting, and take it out for a ride. I must say tho, opening the battery door was a pain in all the wrong places, like i literally had to read a manual and follow a youtube video to just open the door, I hope the settings are amatuer friendly.. This is my second bad boy camera actually, I bought a Nikon D 5600 cam and with the bulk and complications of moving around with it, its sadly stored in its original box, so I resulted to using my good old samsung phone for my travel videos. Crossing fingers I shall make amazing contents with my new GoPro10, following your video

I've had mine since December. I'm just a dad trying to record all the best moments of my two daughters growing up. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. It makes it easy to get great video with minimal tinkering. Or if you want to dive in deep like this channel you can. This guys tips are legit. Even then it's still an easy camera to learn.

I have GoPro 10 black. I shoot 1080p coz my Pc doesn't support 2k editing. when I upload to youtube the picture quality drops too much. I have seen many videos and tried exporting from editing software using the 4k setting. still no use. how you do it. Please tell.

I have a couple of questions.. I recorded almost 40 minutes none stop before it overhead and shut off on me. I just bought a GoPro 12 and I love it but I have noticed that sometimes on certain skin tones things look a bit over sharpened and you can see a lot of blemishes on people’s skin, almost looks too sharp. If I’m just shooting scenery, everything looks gorgeous but when I’m shooting people or interviewing people, their skin looks a little sharp or even artifacts a bit. What do you suggest for better results?

Hi Jake, Thanks for the tips. I’m curious aside from locking the exposure, couldn’t you also set the min and max to one ISO, say 100 for min and max and it will work the same? Keep up the positive vibes!

Of course, on a sunny day you could try min 100 max 400, but the camera exposure screen locking prompts will still show up as soon as water hits the back panel so it’s a good habit to lock it regardless

Hey Kris, for mobile editors we recommend filming in 2.7K or lower, this will allow for the mobile device to smoothly edit the content. Longer format videos, anything over 2 minutes we'd recommend editing on a laptop.
