Really informative. Have been waiting for this, especially on the tripod. Thanks for sharing and such a nice video.

You can fit the pocket in the case with the Freewells one as well. It’s just pointing the lens down. Instead of facing inwards. No problem.
@JakeSloan7 ай бұрын
yeah I prefer they aren't facing that way

Hello, cool video, regarding microphones what is the maximum range of the DJi Mic2 ?
@JakeSloanАй бұрын
I've tested it and depending on how much interference there is or keeping direct line of sight I have been hundreds of feet away but in other areas I need to be within 50ft because of the other RF in the area

Hey Jake, We wanted to share some insights on why filters for the Pocket 3 should not be too thin. A. Handling: The current size of Pocket 3 ND filters is already challenging to handle, especially for those with bigger hands. Making these filters thinner would make them even harder to grip and manage. B. Reflection Issues: In our testing with thinner versions of these filters, particularly the ND/PL type, we noticed unwanted reflections under white light. This is an issue that some other brands, who have opted for thinner filters. C. Gimbal Safety: DJI's own ND filters for the Pocket 3 are designed not to close completely. This is intentional to prevent potential damage to the gimbal. If the filter shifts, it could lock up the gimbal, risking permanent damage. Given DJI's ongoing firmware updates, it's often safer to adhere to their design considerations when creating compatible filters. D. Gimbal Movement: Even when the gimbal is locked or unlocked, the case provided by DJI allows for some movement. This indicates that DJI has taken these factors into account in their design. I hope these points help in understanding the design choices for the Pocket 3 filters. Thanks, Freewell Team

Hi Jake, thanks for the great video. May I ask how to use selfie stick with pocket 3 to capture a group photo? I couldn't find hand motion feature, so how to click the camera while using selfie stick? Thanks in advance.

I’m using a very high speed sd card but I still get the error message that the sd card is too slow? I have tried it with other sd cards but it is still too slow. Any suggestions. Good Video

Use a sandisk extreme pro card. Those I’ve never had issue with

Can you leave the lower ND filter on most of the time or would it be an issue in doors? Also, is it better to buy the 2 filter kit by K&F or is the stronger ND filter not really necessary?

Hey Jake, would you recommend the 70cm Insta360 stick for the same purpose? Thinking about getting that but worry it might be too short to act as a stand.

I notice you don't turn the dial on the k&f CP filter when attached to the Osmo. It's impossible to turn it without moving the whole filter which makes it impossible to set to the correct configuration. Great camera but awful for adding filters imo
@JakeSloan6 ай бұрын
I turn it all the time...
@whatsnottohike6 ай бұрын
@@JakeSloan ok. I've yet to see a video with them attached And the user moving the dial at the same time. What with the delicate gimbal moving around while trying to do this, it's not easy and every time I try to dial to the correct setting while I'm holding the Osmo in my hand, the filter moves so it's not straight because the pressure it takes to move the dial, I find moved the whole filter. Hence why I never see videos with anyone actually moving the dial while holding the Osmo in the hand. If you do, then good on ya. 🙂
