I like the simplicity of Monolit and the great sound quality. There are so many wide and complex virtual synths that it can be confusing for beginners and non-synth players, but this is nicely laid out. This is easy to recommend because you have lots of good presets, simple controls for tweaking or sound design, and then some powerful features as you develop your expertise. The lack of effects is no problem, as adding 3rd party effects is easy in any DAW or AUM. I actually prefer having no effects, because I want to start with clear simple sounds.

Thanks for the great overview and message. BLEASS really make great and accessible apps. I loved the sound you got with the flanger, will have to add that to the list!

Yea, downloaded it a couple of days ago, and its really nice so far. I love how clean the UI looks and how easy it is to get some nice sounds out of it and that its free is totally amazing.

Downloaded it and i love making sounds with it. There is not to much to play around with but you can do a lot with what you got. And that is the most important. Less is more

It’s got a nice 80’s grit about it I appreciate. Super cool they (Bleass) took the time to make this and then just give it away for doofuses like me to make screwy sounds with… those mad fools 😜

It´s an amazing app indeed (and much appreciated since its free), is just that I don't get why mono synths exists nowdays... I mean, why forbid polyphony on a soft synth, what´s the point?

I first thought that you said SoundFist room, and for a second I thought that it somehow was a creative play on words. It definitely got my attention. ☺️

I did, and I’m actually miss reading all the contributors name. Wanted to troll my friends a bit basically. 😅

I can't figure how to add external effects in stand alone mode, even a Bleass delay.
@JakobHaq2 жыл бұрын
You have to load Monolit as an AUv3 plugin inside a DAW like GarageBand or Cubasis or any other DAW that supports AUv3s. You can also load it into a Mixer type app like AUM, apeMatrix or Audiobus. Thing is you cannot add external effects without loading Monolit as a plugin inside a host.

@@JakobHaq Thanks. Makes sense. I was trying to do an impossible thing again.

Does this one connects with GarageBand? Tried to add the extension but it just doesn’t appear on the auv3 menu
