Thanks man! 😁 Keep in mind that DVR is from 3yr old Skyzone goggles 😄 Didn't have as bad an image as the DVR, but I had my finger resting on RTH anyway 😆 Also, I always test RTH and failsafe procedures before doing anything.

@@NordbyFPV Yeah, we try and mix it up between spots, with different features at each. Feel pretty lucky with what we've got.

@@lostwing for now anyway. I've got over 200 acres to fly which h is family owned thank goodness but way its looking with all these regs even us with the land to fly will have to either get some sort of certification

We also went out today to fly after winter. The snow has not melted yet very wet! I found many problems and the video signal was bad. Big wing you need to try 1.3G video and ground station with repeater. The main thing is to spread the antennas on the wing far.

Nice man! We have had way to much wind lately for wings unfortunately 🤷‍♂️ I have a lot of upgrades in mind for my wing, and definitely considering moving RX and VTX to the wings 😄

I understand the video is better in your goggles but you should get more range than 3ks as they look like good antennas you have.....6 turn etc. did you goggles switch over to the heli at 2 ks plus, maybe remove the clover and test, cheers Brett

I had to gather myself too 😆 I launch with almost 100% throttle, but it rolls quite hard to the opposite direction of what the prop is spinning 😅 its not crazy but I launch in Angle mode just to have a little help. Also, my throw gain in Angle is same as Acro, so I can do hard turns in case shit goes south 😂

Nice one i put a tmotor 2210 2200kv 6x4 prop on 4cell 4500mah its screamer fpv racing ,might get the pnp next for crusing bloody good wing .

Haha god damn I bet it screams with that prop 😁 I can definitely recommend a bigger motor and prop - I think 7x6 is a good small prop for fast passes 😁 I did like 110km/t on a short stretch

Can I ask what motor you have on that bad boy? And is that the default settings on your autolaunch or did you go into the cli and change to your specifics? By the way, your efficiency is pretty damn good for long range

I got the PNP version, so it's the motor/ESC combo it comes with (can't remember kv/size) 😊 Also, I am using an APC 8x6 EP prop (LP 08060EP). I don't use nav launch cause I nearly killed the wing in the beginning due to faulty settings 🙈😂 I did 3-4 maiden attempts with it and just fckin gave up 🤣

@@NordbyFPV oh wow, I thought you had it on autolaunch, guess I didn't see it right...well it flys very good stock, I'm thinking 2216 1400kv probably on that, but im not too thrilled with their servos... So I've been looking at this or the reptile dragon 🐉II for my next build, the dragon looks pretty good too I like your videos, very cool flying

I'll change to digital metal gear servos 👍 I've watched another guy experience same spinout as me, so he changed servos and haven't had issues since 🤷‍♂️ The Reptile Dragon looks pretty neat too! Cheers man 🙏 much appreciated. I have tons of plans for longer range stuff, and planning a pan/til thingy too.

I'd like some more range than I'm getting tbh. I've had another airplane out to 6km on 1200mw 😁 They're pretty affordable nowadays mate, and it's a lot of fun to learn 😁 Sonicmodell AR Wing Pro PNP comes with servos, ESC and motor 👍 all you need is an FC, rx, vtx, camera and GPS if you want that 😊 Check out Painless360 or Andrew Newton on YT, they have some excellent videos on setups!

I haven't tested it thoroughly enough to say too much, but it felt like the pitch (4.5) was a bit too low, or maybe the motor just doesn't like the size 🤷‍♂️ definitely trying it again cause it felt awesome with that big ass prop 😄
