Hi Jakob, I'm managing our company's Vendor Central accounts and I'm trying to connect to the sp api. I followed all of your steps, everything goes smoothly. I got all the STS credentials and Access Token. However, at the end, when I tried to get the order data, it keeps on saying "Access to requested resource is denied" and the error code is 403. I checked online and the reason might be something related to the users access, but I don't know how to resolve it. I tried to add more direct permissions on IAM but still doesn't work at all. If possible, can you please advice what should I do to resolve this problem? Really appreciated.

Hello, In your video at 15:24, you're entering data into IAM ARN. I don't have that field; I only have App name, API Type, Provide North America Developer ID, and Roles. Why might the IAM ARN field be absent? The seller account was created in 2016.

I was able to get the orders without using sts. I just used no-auth while sending Order request. Just using accesskey in the Headers was enough to get response. I did not get the point of using sts. Could anyone explain ?

I have been fighting this exact problem for 2 days! I followed your tutorial, but I am still having the same issue. I can get everything to work successfully all the way through, but after 3 or 4 successful calls, when I try again I get, "{ "message": "Access to requested resource is denied.", "code": "Unauthorized", "details": "" }" Then a few minutes later it starts working again with no changes at all to the code?

I am using the us-east-1 region.. not sure if that matters, but when I do, it shows 8 under "headers" instead of 9. It works successfully, so I'm not concerned but it was odd and had me concerned up until I hit "Send". Just a heads up if anyone else sees the same thing.

I just realized that many of these videos are obsolete as SP-API no longer requires AWS IAM or AWS Signature Version 4. It would be amazing if you created an updated video. I believe all we use now is LWA access tokens. Your insight would be highly helpful. Thanks.

All the time I am getting the error "The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided. Check your AWS Secret Access Key and signing method. Get Order Notification via event/ webhook 4. Update Product Status 5. Update Order Status 6. Update Inventory But not able to find any concrete documentation regarding this. Also Do we need to sign the API request because I am Successfully able to fetch 1. Catalogue 2. Single Product 3. Orders 4. MarketPlace Information but when I do it without signing the request withthe same access token and request it says missingAcesstoken and next time it works without any change . They must have made changes because i do not see anywere where it allows me to enter the arn url path. All i see is the App name , app type, roles and the RDT option. However, I am using the /items endpoint to get information for the requested product but I am receiving an error: { "errors": [ { "code": "InvalidInput", "message": "FORBIDDEN", "details": "The includedData requested requires vendor access. This was my thoughts too. Because Amazon docs say this about the STS part: "This step is only required if your application ID is associated with an IAM role ARN." I am wondering if we can just use the Key, Secret, and Refresh Token we get from the SP Application -> LWA Credentials and Authorize action.
