24 years ago I bought a brand new 555 cu in. Sonny's racing 93 octane naturally aspirated motor it made 773 h.p. 24 years ago it was $ 12,700 if I remember correctly I parked that 69 chevell 20 years ago I need to get it back on the road.

I need that engine in my 69 GMC K2500 ... with the amount of fuel the stock, worn out 350 smallblock uses, it may get better fuel mileage. Just tap the throttle for 3 seconds, shut it down and coast the rest of the way😂😂😂

Tony is a very smart Engine builder. I competed with him in 07 and 08 in the Popular Hotrodding Engine Masters dyno competition. He won in 07 with a 23° head 400 Smallblock Chevrolet against several canted valve Big block Fords. I proportionally copied his 400 from 07 and applied it to a 305 Smallblock Chevrolet and it made way better. Awesome experience .

Ford GT produced 660 HP from a NA 302 which was less than half the displacement of this, so the Chevrolet engine isn't really that impressive

@dannydionne7620 Ur so switched on . Definitely not. Where did u get 1050 hp from Agro . It made 1004 hp & 874 ft lbs . Can't even get Ur Numbers Right . I remembered the numbers with one viewing . Don't get me wrong l love Chevys . I have a Blown 482 , intercooled with an 871 super charger making 925 hp & 885 ft lbs & a 427 cu inch making 660 hp & 640 ft lbs . However if l had my time ⏲️ again l would have gone with the big block ford. Reasons, listen 2 Jon Kasse talk about the differences & the bbf is just better . I listened 2 him last year on KZbin and l actually got a real schooling . His heads straight out of the box are almost perfect as cast & that's the same as these new 632 heads , as cast .

Always been a dream of mine when I was younger to put a big engine in a small car. Now that I'm older, I can't afford the gas so I want a bigger vehicle with a more fuel efficient engine. The 68 camaro I had in my younger days would eat the tires off and struggled to not pass a gas station. Can't afford it but still love them.

You might have to change the piston ring gap and lower the compression. The hard part is how are you going to get all that power to the ground to make it useful and then be able to stop?

That's almost 100hp/L naturally aspirated which Honda was the first to achieve thanks to variable valve timing in the B16A in 1989 according to Google. Not sure if higher end or performance brands did it before then but I remember Top Gear mentioning this too if I'm not wrong.

I wouldn’t mind that power to displacement ratio in a smaller NA engine. A 240 hp 2.5l NA sounds kinda nice for a Camry.

If you do buy one of these you might have to take it apart to see if anything is damaged. Donut media had one and the noticed mars and scratches on the internals along with some essential parts missing.

This engine has always been over $30k... Even when brand new. It's an extremely limited production engine as demand is low, so it's never going to be cheap.

My 540 n/a dyno’d @ 811hp. ‘65 Chevelle frame off Pro Street with less than 1,000 miles on it. Paid $25k for the whole car! Th400 / 4.22 9 inch. Getting ready to install a Gear Vendor’s overdrive.

If I had this engine I would buy a nice 93 Cadillac Sedan DeVille and slide this in there. Make it real drivable around town, but when you goose it, it gives all...yeah!

10.1l for us Metric guys and for it to get that power it has to run 7k rpm which is bad lol so good luck you can watch a hoonigan race with this
