Tony is a very smart Engine builder. I competed with him in 07 and 08 in the Popular Hotrodding Engine Masters dyno competition. He won in 07 with a 23° head 400 Smallblock Chevrolet against several canted valve Big block Fords. I proportionally copied his 400 from 07 and applied it to a 305 Smallblock Chevrolet and it made way better. Awesome experience .

@dannydionne7620 Ur so switched on . Definitely not. Where did u get 1050 hp from Agro . It made 1004 hp & 874 ft lbs . Can't even get Ur Numbers Right . I remembered the numbers with one viewing . Don't get me wrong l love Chevys . I have a Blown 482 , intercooled with an 871 super charger making 925 hp & 885 ft lbs & a 427 cu inch making 660 hp & 640 ft lbs . However if l had my time ⏲️ again l would have gone with the big block ford. Reasons, listen 2 Jon Kasse talk about the differences & the bbf is just better . I listened 2 him last year on KZbin and l actually got a real schooling . His heads straight out of the box are almost perfect as cast & that's the same as these new 632 heads , as cast .

You might have to change the piston ring gap and lower the compression. The hard part is how are you going to get all that power to the ground to make it useful and then be able to stop?

That's almost 100hp/L naturally aspirated which Honda was the first to achieve thanks to variable valve timing in the B16A in 1989 according to Google. Not sure if higher end or performance brands did it before then but I remember Top Gear mentioning this too if I'm not wrong.
