Debbie, of course there will be those who will drag you for placing the cooked chicken back in the bowl with raw, and uncooked chicken. Never mind them! At no point did you suggest that they eat anything until after the preparation was completed. Everything in the bowl was used, including all rendered juices, spices and condiments. I've been an avid follower and fan of your channel here, as well as your Instagram. Lessons in cooking is my take away. Be blessed, no stress. Manners and respect! "aierionii" 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💕

Miss Debs don't give those eediat people no platform. They can't drag you down. There is no cross contamination because the meat is going back in the pot to continue cooking. Mek dem tan dere. You're doing a good job. Everyone going back to cooking and growing food by the old ways. They call it organic lol The modern and processed foods over the last 30 years have been causing all manner of illnesses believe me. Natural products are the best you can't beat it 💯 .👌🏽 "You Do You" Miss Debs👌🏽♥️😘

I'm American and I can remember my people cooking like that and pork chops to especially my Aunties and my Aunt Dorothy (my Jamaican Godmother RIP) I don't know where these people get this scientific advice from but if you cook everything through like you did you won't have to worry about salmonella poisoning. Also it's key to have a heavy pot like Ms. Jessie now that's what I need. I got a new school pot but ain't nothing like that Ms. Jessie there she make the food look extra good. Great job with this video. I like to wish you and all your family and friends a Happy and Healthy Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.

Yum yum yum !!! LooooooooooL. Yes Deb I feel u. The long belly 1s? Yes!! U no food wid aroma do s/ting 2 the appetite & when the eating start u can't stop. Seem like the more u eat the more hungry u become. The long belly bring back memories. No Deb. U no get drag. That's common practice. No cross contamination either. U n'er tell any1 2 eat chicken @ that point. All pieces were fried then doved down. Properly cooked. Deb this is called tradition. It work then & it work now. No need 2 change 2 please others. What's important is that u prepare clean, u work clean, u clean clean & u cook clean. Once the basics r observed its alright.

Oh Debi, this is whose channel, your channel, and who is doing the work, but you shouldn’t be worried about the negative comments. As you said, if there is truth to it, well you are open but you washed the chicken with vinegar in the beginning, so where is the cross contamination? I do think of people make constructive contributions with a kind words, you will be able to hear and suggestions being brought forth. I love the memories you bring back to me, and things you do and say, my Mum & Dad used to do with their Jamaican cooking when I was growing up. And they taught me the same things. We have the choice to tweak little things to be safer or healthier, so until they are the ones with the channel they should be respectful with making contributions with their comments. Keep on giving us such great recipes of old!! Love you Debbie!! You are so amazing!! Your channel is the bomb!! Arlene (Miami)
