can i strain out the corn??? i love the flavor of hominy corn porridge, but i don't like eating all that corn, i rather just the creamy texture and flavor.....
@sexymj4u17 жыл бұрын
Tay 371996 you could blend the corn after its tender and bring back to cooking
@MMSCOTT-mx8dm6 жыл бұрын
After you cook the corn for about an hour and a half, you could strain out the corn and follow the rest of the steps to finish the dish. May I suggest you take all the corn and half the strained liquid and blend it in a blender, then add it back to the pot and proceed with the recipe from there. You will get great texture and flavor! Blessings.

While vacationing in Roatan I used to buy this from a young kid standing in front of a "disco" around closing time, 3 am in the morning. After a night of drinking and dancing it was the best meal ever, but I used to wonder. Who was silly enough to make their 12 year old child stand in front of a bar late at night?
