I'm St.Lucian. My Island was 7 times British and 7 times French ruled. So we speak a french dialect called creole. Chauffé means to heat. The word rechauffé means reheated. It's taking left overs and reheating them. Découché means left overs. Couché means to lie down or rest. Since food have been left over night, it is refered to as découché . Just taught you a bit of St.Lucian Creole language.

Oh wow, this is exactly how I do my sausage & hotdogs! I prefer using ketchup, but most Haitians who make this use tomato paste. The fried dumplin & yam are new to me, I'll try to make it if I can get any leftovers! 😁

Sickening, boil the food then fry it. That is destroying your liver, too much fry food, and this unnecessary evil. Don't need to fry the food after you have cooked it. So silly and sickening.
