In case somebody wonders - I've been filming footage for this youtube channel for over 5 years and the work isn't over yet. I had an opportunity to visit Black River Safari multiple times and that's why I can now select the footage and present Black River in different weather conditions - sunny, overcast, rainy.. You can also see how the atmosphere of the tour changes depending if there are many tourists on a boat or if there are only a few visitors.
I'm so thankful to everyone for all your support to this channel!

Irina Although I was born yhere and now reside in the UK.i have only visited the safari once.As a child my mum used to see the crocodiles a lot in yhe swamps of SavLa Mar.I have always been terrified of them as are a lot of fellow Jamaicans. Thre has been the occasional fatalities but as you noted its when they are not respected.I am quite happy interacting with them from a boat. Thanks once again for helping others to see the diversity and beauty of our Island. Remember to keep safe now.

Irina sorry to flood you with comments but the love and proudness of Jamaica pores from my skin and heart. Let get to my point. You stated in your TV interview on TV J that no one or no information was out there on the Jamaican Cuisine/food. You have fell in love with how delicious it is and THE versatility of our chefs/cooks and general population can take other non-Jamiacan dishes give it a Jamaican twist. I see persons as far as Australia commenting on your videos so the display of our foods would be an awesome video.

Absolutely! The only area to match it would be wetlands in Trinidad, BUT these are next to South America, so it's expected to be so diverse there. With Jamaica, though, over 14,000 acres in Black River Morass - just incredible!

Hi. I'm a Jamaican. I went on similar tour about 20 years ago, and most of us jumped off the boat and swam. The locals jump off a bridge close to where we swam for their usually safe swim. It was a memorable experience and I often look back at the pics we took. The more recent times we went on the tour, we weren't given the option to swim. I guess it depends on whose boat you ride.

Oh Irina I have been to Black River Safari. I loved the boat tour trip on the river. I did put my feet in the water as well as my hands as directed by the Guide. He had me go stand in the huge tall roots of the Mangroves as well.. My final year Thesis was on Urban Development Impact on Wetland Mangroves and did a case study.. I had an environmental Lecturer who had us visited most of the wetlands in Jamaica. I have been back to some after college and University. This bring back good memories. I enjoy what you do with these videos Vlogs Irina. Thanks Irina .. I just love seeing my country and how you do justice in show casing the wealth of the natural treasures that make up Jamaica. @@viviennedavis-campbell3289 I'm not sure if there are other ones :) you never know with names in Jamaica, so it's better to confirm! For example, people confuse Blue Hole in Negril with Irie Blue Hole in Ocho Rios with Blue Lagoon in Portland and Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth 😂. Often people think all of it the same place, but they are different places. And sometimes the same place would have several names, for example: Konoko Falls = Coyaba Falls - they are the same thing (they were renamed from Coyaba to Konoko), OR check this out: Irie Blue Hole = Island Gully Falls = Secret Falls (three names for the same place 😅). That's why I always ask!!!! :)
