You said it perfectly. I think the people that have the nerve to complain need to step back, and either try building a garden with 0-whatever children they have, maintain a household, keep everyone healthy and happy AND produce fun content that is free for us to enjoy and them say something. Jamerill has her priorities straight, and I hate that she feels the toll of negative people. She is truly good, either enjoy, or step back and follow someone else to bother

Same! Not to mention how much Jamerill and family manage to accomplish with all that’s going on is incredible, and again she shouldn’t have to explain or validate what’s going on in their lives.

I paused the video to come and say that traumatic birth experiences are very private. I had one myself and it has taken YEARS to heal. The people who have negative things to say about you would monopolize that to make it even worse, I fear. Not everything needs to be shared. Good for you on recognizing where to draw the line and I’m so sorry that it was bad. 😢

As mom's we often feel like what did I do today? Nothing got accomplished... I can't imagine having the internet judge me constantly about what I didn't get done. This is what my friend's husband has said when she's felt this way, Are the kids still alive? Yes? Then you did your job. We need to become more gentle with ourselves and others, and stop the judging. While I enjoy watching your garden grow, because I love gardening, you had a big year where you needed to adjust your focus and work on your own health. So, Jo judgement here, just love from another Mama.

We all have that urge to do more hobbies - "ooh I would love to scrapbook" or "having a garden would be so fun" or "let's get some chickens". We only have so much time and you are doing what is right - prioritizing what you want to do with the time you have. I have chosen genealogy...so anytime I think "ooooh what about...." I have to say to myself would I rather do that then genealogy. I homeschooled 15 yrs and they are all adults now. Grandkids always take priority #1.

I’m so impressed with all the things that you got done on your new property. Travis put up that pool for the kids… I know he and your children worked very hard and long on that. And don’t forget all the buckets of food that you put up… You taught us all so much as you learned along the way. All the homesteading things you did taught us all that it could be done if hard times came and it was needed. It was fun to watch you and your children work with all the different animals, that was totally fun to watch.

Absolutely on homesteading is a minimum of two adults full time. I have a full time job (and a 2 hr commute) and doing my entire garden (and having to hand water an hour daily but now can do it every few days now its fall), feed, watch, clean up after chickens, kids, dogs, cat, all the cooking, canning, sprouting, fermenting and house cleaning...all on me. No help from the other half on anything. Its beyond frustrating sometimes. Im whooped! So happy you are keeping it real. I enjoy listening to you. God bless.

Jamerrill, you're an amazing mom/wife/teacher - you do/share what "YOU" want, not what everyone else wants you to do! I think it's awesome all the things you want to teach your children about gardening/cooking/canning/raising & butchering animals. Most folks would starve if they had to do what our farmers do to feed this country and the world. You are providing a wonderful life for your family, and how great that your children are blessed to have "both" parents there to teach them how to survive, whether it be learning how to grow your own food, cook it or even fix your own vehicle. I am a farmer's (passed on) daughter, that has wonderful memories of being on my grandparents farm (where my father was raised and farmed, even while holding down a full-time maintenance engineering job) and helping with the garden/canning/field work and yes, even butchering chickens, which I must say, is an icky/stinky job, but that aside, what wonderful memories I have and I'm excited to start a small raised veggie garden with our 5 yr grandson, who is so excited to plant the veggies. Love all your videos, no matter the content and I, like many wish you were my neighbor, so we could share a cup of coffee and chat. :)

About prepping the food to be canned, I learned from That 1870 Homestead you can use a countertop turkey oven as a stewing vessel or crockpot for preparing the food. It holds 8-10 quarts or so. Another option is using an instant pot for making the bone broth etc. We just started our journey with the Harvest Right you will LOVE it!

Your videos make me smile and make my heart so happy. To hear you talk about Travis and how he thinks you’re cute and will listen to you talk and supports you in whatever you want to do resonates so much with me. You are truly amazing and I love watching your journey. I love that you have your priorities straight and I look up to you. I don’t have any kids yet, but I would love to do the things in life that you are doing with your family 💛

I can't even imagine people thinking you don't do enough. I struggled homeschooling 1 kid and making sure my house was clean and my family ate food. I don't think many know how much goes into your large family table business and KZbin business. When I saw you most excited about providing everything for your family, the world was uncertain, so you were trying to provide for your family what may not be available to get in the stores etc. I feel like you are a hobbysteader. And that is great. I'm here no matter what. I'm praying blessings and prosperity over whatever you choose.

Thank you for talking about not being able to talk about traumatic birth. It's been 5 1/2 year's and I still feel like crying as you described thinking about it.

I loved every bit of this. People don't put themselves in others shoes, and a lot of times, people need wake ups, and see and hear things like this interview! ;-) I love how real you are Jamerrill!!!!

Jamerrill, you are the last person anyone would ever say is lazy! So don’t even think it. You are always busy! Sending love and support over Tobin’s birth. Glad you and your family are doing well now. Happy 2022 planning!

I just love these chats!! I had been wondering about the homesteading...so in awe of how you just go with the flow and allow yourself grace when life changes and you need to pause for babies or family priorities. Your attitude is amazing. I am SO excited to see the new kitchen!!

Just love listening to you and your hopes and dreams. You and Travis are a fabulous couple! I, too, have a very mechanically handy hubby. I have cut back on my professional career and trying to enjoy life and y'all bring me joy! Keep on keeping on!

You are totally awesome Jamerrill! I am proud of you for setting large and small goals and reaching so many of them! I'm proud of you for knowing when to pull back and when to change course just a little and sometimes a lot. I also admire the way you and your husband are raising your family, using the teachings of Jesus Christ. The children are respectful, hard working, imaginative and creative, they happily spend time together yet are independent as well! GREAT JOB GIRL! WELL DONE!

I just wanted to tell you that I think you are amazing. I tell my daughters, who are grown and out of my house with their own families, how amazing I think you are. With all the cooking, recipes you share, the cookbooks, the plans you sell and share, home schooling your children, and generally managing a home, along with a business. You are amazing. You must take time to take care of yourself too because the family all depend on you greatly. I would like to say please give yourself credit for what you do. Not a lot of people could accomplish your deeds as you have done. Enjoy your wonderful family as they do you.

Let me summarise the first 23 minutes of the video. Life happened! It happens to all of us. Glad things are back on track! I’m so excited to see the kitchen progress!
