The CHAOS Acaster paints in this scene is incredible 😂😂😂😂 I think James has such a good rapport with kids because he is basically still a kid himself. Not surprised to learn one of his previous jobs was as a learning support assistant in a school, and between this and the cabbage incident, you can tell there’s a child-like whimsy and warmth to his personality

I think the host constantly interrupting allows James to go off on tangents and improvise a bit whilst still following the narrative of the story. It works for me.

I like these stories but I don't know why it annoys me so much but I hate it when people laugh at their own jokes hard and unfortunately James's host is a big culprit.
