He was very articulate and had a very good conservative perspective of things. A point of view that I agree with deeply as I'm a Christian conservative myself.

What’s conservative about fighting wars? I would love to have asked him to explain that position.

He was a smart dude. I only knew him as a junkie later in life

How can you call this man a junkie? A junkie can't function and relies on and brings down others. This man no matter his challenges in life, never missed a show date and did what he did best; which was to entertain the masses. He has always been and will always be an American treasure. The Hardest Working Man In Show Business.

@@SkyzTh3LimittI don’t think he’s talking about in this interview specifically, he’s talking about later in Mr Browns life which we all can fall into substances and stuff and I don’t blame the guy he had a hard life. I do also see where you’re coming from though with calling him a junkie because the man was smarter than that he, just like all of us, fell into mistakes. But I think OP was referring to this particular interview: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mH7Ln3yLhLR_mqc Anyway hope you understand what I mean, ✌️

James Brown was performing in front of sell out crowds late in his life. He was far from a junkie
