If you turn the sound off it appears that a nice young man made some protein bars for his grandfather all the while being stalked by a young man with binoculars who eventually comes down and robs the family, taunts them, then runs away before the cops arrive. :P

I made some protein bars very similiar to this yesterday using peanut butter, oats and honey but I used vanilla whey protein because it's all i had and then i melted some dark chocolate and drizzled that on the finished product. they are delicious! Loved the video

Hey Doods.. to make them a little crispy preheat oven 350 and put them in for about 10 minutes... takes away the gooey-ness and puts a nice crisp to them... not sure if it affects macros at all but this kinda breaks the monotony if u make these bars frequently like I do
@SaggyJ6 жыл бұрын
Also try melting dark chocolate chips and melt them ... then spread it across the top of the bars and let them cool , the chocolate will harden and make a shell like coating
@theJiqar7 жыл бұрын
In case anyone is wondering, the body will adjust to intakes of phytic acid from old fashioned rolled oats IF you have sufficient intake of pre and probiotics. This primarily is an issue for people who may probably finish an entire half batch or more of these bars at a time.

Hey i tried your recipe and it turned out great but just one thing if i take the bars out of fridge they go soft and are not as crunchy as protein bars should be. Though they taste amazing but not crunchy. Any suggestion what might have gone wrong?
@DG-nb6fe2 ай бұрын
Place them in a small insulated thermos or insulated food container, they’ll stay cold for 6-8 hours. Just leave the batch in the fridge until you need to take some with you and eat hours later.

The stevia sweetened protein powder I use seems to have added an even more bitter taste than usual. I don't mind the stevia normally, but I'm thinking it didn't work so well this time. I'm guessing Muscletech powder doesn't have that issue!

l like them too! I love the production quality on BD. I have a healthy cookie recipe on my channel and I worked really hard on the sound and recipe to get it right, and part of me is a little sad because I legitimately believe it is worth a million views but it's not that popular. The comments are all good and people love it so I'm not sure if it's a quality problem an algorithm/marketing problem. It might just be that it's not what my subscribers are used to and needs another chance in the search algorithm. Would so appreciate if you check it and let me know if you think it's actually a solid recipe and video or if I'm crazy. Thanks haha

Yo! This by far is the best movie style protein bar video I have seen. I just finished one on my channel. You guys rock for that. I may do an episode on making your own as well and up the protein levels. Thanks for the specs at the end. Great to see a low dose of sugar. That was one of the points I harped on in my review.
