I made this recipe saturday morning and I was very satisfied with the results. Just a tip for the buff dudes or anyone else making this pizza... Instead of using a knife and then a blender to shred the cauliflower, run the cauliflower over a cheese grater and in no time you get the 2 cups of cauliflower at the PERFECT and even consistency. Using the cheese grater will save you time and dishes to wash. Great recipe guys and thanks!

Hi bigboi. If it's possible, I would recommend making your main three meals really count. Have a solid breakfast (Eggs, Ezekiel Bread, Turkey Bacon or Protein Pancakes) and try and prepare a good meal for lunch at school (something like rice and ground turkey) If you work out after school, have an apple or rice cakes with peanut butter and afterwords a protein shake. Follow this all up with a healthy dinner and you're definitely on your way to gaining some solid muscle. Eating clean is a must!

Fun idea. If you can't eat cheese, you could beat eggs with seasonings (even season all would work) and drizzle that all over the pizza before baking. It looks like cheese, holds the toppings on, and tastes good too. You may want to thicken either the crust at the edges or make the sauce deeper at the rim to keep the egg from running off the pizza before it's cooked, however. My kids like it :)

I made the decision to go on a diet for the next couple weeks, and have a upper body work out schedule from my doc. All he said about my diet, is that I should eat dense veggies (celery, carrots, parsnips etc.) and lean protein, which I am fine with, but I need a few recipes that my wife will enjoy (as she is doing this with me). Buff Dudes does consuming dietary fat equate an increase in adipose tissue?
@GorthaurTheCrueI10 жыл бұрын
djmarioz Buff Dudes It also depends on the TYPE of fat you're talking about. Typically, dietary fat doesn't just equate an increase in adipose tissue(ie fat in the body). Fats, especially the good fats, are typically used for assimilating your proteins, making hormones and many other functions in the body regarding energy before they're just stored in the body via adipose. And by good fats, I mean NATURAL monounsaturated fats like those found in macadamia nuts, natural forms of polyunsaturated fats and NATURAL saturated fats like those found in coconut oil. Minimizing the saturated fat found in milk and animal meats, and ELIMINATING unnaturally saturated fats like trans fats such as unnaturally hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils and unnaturally obtained oils like crisco and the heavily processed shit. Most fats in your diet should be of the 3, 6, 9 EFA variety with a preferably heavy concentration on freshwater fish for omega 3s due to already converted EPA and DHA varieties rather than the ALA variety found in plants that your body has to convert to EPA in order to use. Like proteins and carbs, not all fats are created equal, but rather far from it. Using the simple verbal ambiguity of "dietary fat" when it comes to definitions is a recipe for getting lost in semantics. When considering your question with natural EFA fats versus trans fats synthetically hydrogenated in a lab as is found in most nasty low priced pita breads or baked goods, I can tell you the correct answers to each would be worlds apart. EFA's actually help you LOSE detrimental fat, optimally shape your body and support muscle mass, while trans fats typically do the opposite, pack on pounds virtually as you consume it and essentially fuck your body's form and/or shapeliness. Ever see the "flying saucer fat" morbidly obese fat fuck that looks like a fat version of a spinning top? Trans fat overdose is the most likely culprit. No coincidence they're the kind that sit their fat ass on the couch ingesting pork rinds, potato chips, low quality snack crackers/baked goods, fried chicken, fast food french fries, donuts etc....all that bullshit. All products in the low quality variety that are loaded with trans fats. Case in point.... NYC was so plagued with the shit due to allegedly fucking up the "forms" and health of visitors that they actually banned it from restaurants there since 2007. www.cnn.com/2012/07/16/health/nyc-fat-ban-paying-off/
@GorthaurTheCrueI10 жыл бұрын
Cheese has complete protein in it which the human body can absorb relatively well since cheese is still a food. The saturated fats aren't the best kind of saturated fats, and the fact that most cheese is made from shit pasteurized milk rather than raw, makes it not as desirable for health, but it does have some health benefits. I wouldn't say it has none. Also, omega 3 "supplements" are dumb as fuck. They're usually fish oil capsules which are overly expensive and still questionable whether they work through all the processing and/or cooking or pasteurizing they do to make them. Plus, the fact that they're "supplements" allows the manufacturer to do a lot of extra nasty shit to them by law, so getting omega 3 with actual fish is smarter by far. Also, there are more than one different type of omega 3. ALA, EPA, DHA. All have different effects on the body health and growth wise. And they don't do "tricks". They are named Essential Fatty Acids for a reason. They coat vital pathways and do a number of things for organ health and inner lubrication of pathways. "Normal" hormone synthesis would be shit considering the definition of normal and how it definitively goes with trends. IE "normal" nowdays would be that of the "norm" or average and since the majority of people seem to have fucked up hormone levels, that would be shit. In fact, it's actually smarter health wise to increase your diet with healthy fats even more than the protein, because protein burns nasty in the body with nitrogen, despite it being necessary for muscle growth. EFAs help clean up the garbage left behind aswell as vitally assist protein synthesis and protein assimilation.
Yesterday I've tried it, that's great! My toppings are chicken, orions, mushrooms and zucchini with low fat mozzarella. Thanks!!!

***** Dude on average, they eat far less compared to the average westerner. They also eat more veggies and most have a high basic metabolic rate which is mainly from genetics. Most Asians I know still have to watch their carbs (rice and glutinous rice intake) or else they get plump.
@baddicusb23287 жыл бұрын
TroutButter carbs are no better or worse than protein or fat. They are simply one of the three main macronutrients. Simple. They are not bad for you. If carbs are bad, then protein is bad. You could eat 1800 calories a day of pure carbs, and lose weight, as long as your in a deficit. One specific food or macronutrient will never, ever ever make you someone fat, you're over consumption of calories will.

***** I find if you change the recipe up some: Bring water to a boil, boil the chopped cauliflower, put it in a kitchen towel and squeeze as much water out of it as possible, then put it BACK in the blender with 4 oz. of cream cheese, the eggs, cheese, spices, it'll knock down a LOT of that caulflower taste. It's still just a LITTLE "sweet" but not much like cauliflower anymore. To reduce the sweetness further, add a little acid (lemon juice) and salt.

That's because this guy failed to do an important step. One, you must steam the cauliflower after grating it. Then, using cheese cloth or a dish towel, ring out as much moisture as possible. Not doing this step makes your crust soggy and falling apart. You have to get the excess moisture out.

Try adding equal ratio of cauliflower and cheese, 2 eggs...and PRESS/SPREAD the mixture on the pan. This video shows him forming the mixture...but not pressing it together and spreading out as you go...it gets thinner and more substantial when cooked.

EisMann also toast the cauliflower first in a fry pan no oil. add more cheese and only one egg.

Made this tonight, might just recommend straining the cauliflower "rice" with a towel or rag just because my crust was slightly more moist than I would have liked, so next time I'll probably give that a try. Other than that, great recipe and it tastes great!

Hey Bluff Dude - Truly disgusting. Tastes like cauliflower and eggs topped with tomato sauce and cheese. Know why? Because that's all it is! It doesn't magically transform into "pizza" just because it's round and baked in the oven. Nothing pizza-like about it except for the shape. Did you ever put tomato sauce and cheese on you cauliflower before? No. And the the reason is because it would taste disgusting. And does. There are many many better pizza recipes out there that use almond flour and such. Stick with these and leave the cauliflower to a side dish. Sorry Bluff Dude. It's back to the weights, 'juice, tiny nuts and the deluxe Wahl® Beard trimmer for you.

This stuff is great...added a lot of garlic powder to the final product, really sets it off. Has a bit of a strange late aftertaste, but it tastes amazing!

What size pizza pan are you using? I'm wondering if I should go 12" or a little larger in diameter. I'm a newly licensed R.N. and I think you guys are great. If the job search goes well I plan on sporting a classic Buff Dudes t-shirt in the near future!

The dough didn't really congeal as much as I had hoped, but it tasted pretty good. The cheese masks the cauliflower. Thanks for the upload!

I think I love you - Pizza is my fav. Can I suggest avoiding pre-shredded cheese? They put potato starch in it to stop it from sticking. I still love you.

Hey buff dudes I'm going to make this pizza tomorrow, being from the uk we use grams and not cups. Could you tell me how much cauliflower you use in grams as there are contradicting measurement converters online. Great videos guys.

i made this for my husband, but i made me a different version lowering my carb intake since i can only have no more than 22carbs a day but my husband loves protein and it is now his favorite and the best part is that he still has no clue it is made with cauliflower crest, lol. This has been the only way i have been able to get hm to eat something healthy. thanks for the recipe.
